How is this reviewed and called an interception?

Not going to apologize for a W in the NFL, but dam, you can’t feel too positive about the team winning like that against a trash opponent.

It’s like my horns beating UTEP Saturday, but Manning looking like a practice squad QB all game. Hard to feel real good about that with SEC play starting soon.

It was comical to watch really but for the wrong reasons. As you say two bad teams, the Cowboys relying on a 64 yard field goal from the team's best player to take it to overtime at home against one of the worst teams in the NFL with both quarterbacks choking in overtime.

Wilson throwing the ball out of bounds to lose 10+ yards on a down and then the brainless interception after playing so well in regulation and the needless Dak Prescott sack ate when the game was all but won only needing another chunk play plus the Giants somehow dropping a standard interception from Prescott to win the game in regulation and Prescott fumbling the ball then doing well to recover - it was pure comedy. But unfortunately, it was more akin to a circus show that two professional football teams.

Always great to win any game but there's a little part of me that thinks what was the point as the Cowboys have absolutely no chance to win the Superbowl this season and 0-2 would have put the team closer to downing tools and being in the optimum position to draft a modern day mobile QB on a rookie contract next season plus start to rebuild the pass rush and secondary.

Sure. And what does that have to do with secondaries? Are you suggesting that Wilson helped out the Giants secondary? I didnt see him on the field. Please provide photo evidence of such.

Actually every single one of them are reviewed every turnover and score are reviewed you're not supposed to have to throw and waste a red flag so it was probably reviewed in New York and they never called down and told the referees on the fuel to stop the game and turn it over they would have told them to do just that and say that it wasn't an interception but usually we don't hear anything it means that New York already reviewed it and didn't have enough evidence to overturn it maybe they didn't look at it long enough maybe they thought he had control of it long enough before that or it was secure and the ball didn't help him catch it even if it touched the ground there's a lot of weird things with the catch rules now that Dez Bryants rolling over in his bed right now...

I just want to make sure you understand they review everyone just because you didn't get to see the actual review process they review them upstairs in the booth and New York all at the same time and they'll buzz down to the crew if they think something needs to be overturned they'll tell him stop the game And overturn it but they didn't so apparently they let it go..

In the second half they brought an extra guy in the box and started blitzing more that's the difference it may have been still considered zone but they were more aggressive after that delay yes the second half they played well but not the first half So out of nine quarters they played three quarters of good defense that's not good it's not good enough...

Yes they didn't give up a lot of yards and they only gave up three points in the 2nd half of the Philadelphia game but in the first half they're walked over between Barkley and Hertz this nobody could cover the outside..

First of all I'm a Longhorn fan I'll trade you for that defense all day every day the Cowboys haven't had good defense that's the difference of course you don't apologize for a win but he's in a different situation that whole offense doesn't look like it's getting open it has been missing that juice on offense,

they're still running the same offense as if Worthy, Bond, and Matthew Golden and Blue and some of the other speedsters they've had in the past they don't have that but yet they're calling plays like they have that exact same offense.. Most of what they have in receiving and tight ends and the power backs they're all possession type receivers they need to change the offensive play calls for guys like that...

I don't know who's going to step up but as a Longhorn fan there's a huge difference You need that kind of defense as a championship defense we don't have that we go to the Super Bowl if the Cowboys had one of those defenses giving up only 9 points a game,

yeah, that's would be easy to do so uh yes, I think Manning will eventually catch up but it's not all his fault the play calling's terrible the stupid aggressive analytics going forth on 4th down ,skipping F.goals ,skipping punts, this is part of the problem is Steve Sarkisian...

Think he bumped his head and thinks he has the same offense it's not just the quarterback..

I believe that the offense will eventually get better enough because that defense is championship caliber and they'll keep them in every game that is not the same as the Dallas Cowboys they've never had a defense like that by the way that 'd be one of those Ravens or Bears type defenses that hold teams under 13 points all year and don't blame their quarterback for making a mistake.....

you think that the kicker just went out there without any help from the offense moving the ball into the spot so he can kick it ??/!!!!

I mean the defense at the end didn't get an interception in overtime in order to kick the 45 yard field goal??​

Trying to figure out how the rest of the touchdowns yards and all that other stuff added to the game And yes the defense sucked balls on both teams, But to say that Aubrey is our best player, no that would be Prescott, Lamb , tyler smith, you can add George Pickens in there, if you want there's guys on this team that play their **** off and a couple of them ruined it for everybody else but we won the game..

as bad as this defense played, they got some punts, and they got an interception in OT when it was necessary, they got the proper pressure, they moved the football in this position for a 45 yard win field goal..

Think you watched it on one of these places like Bleacher Report that just shows the scores and gives you little reports because if you watch the game the offense played amazing ,

even in the Philly game ,I mean you just get a discount how great the offense looked with Prescott aside from the 8 drops we've had this year, there was a chance to win that game in Philadelphia ,

so you're saying Philadelphia's trash because the Cowboys gave them all they can handle on the road, on grass in weather..

Hey looky here we have a guy that thinks that The kicker and the two field goal posts in the back of the end zone are not part of football,

we have another one of these clueless delusional fans that don't realize that when you have a good kicker you can strategize and you play to their strengths, it's no different if you have better receivers than running backs and you have a passing offense, this is part of the game football..

has foot in it and Aubrey has one of the best legs in football but he doesn't do it by himself because they don't allow you on 1st down to do something really stupid and kick from your 35 yard line to score 40 points that 'd be a hell of an effort then I can pat you on the back and say how right you are then he kicked a 13- 75 yard field goals??/hmmm

That would be amazing but apparently football you also have to have an offense strategically calling plays knowing who their kicker is so that way you can get them lined up and give them a shot..

Football hasn't changed, you have an offense, defensive, special teams, and together they need to win the football game and as bad as that game looked on defense, the kicker did not do it by himself..
