BUT HE IS and nothing we do is changing it. So now that we have established that, let's make the best of it. we seem to have a couple players that haven't bought in and a DC that refuses to evolve with the talent he has. That aint good. Its like water and oil. This is the big drawback when you hire a former HC to be on staff. They tend to be dug in as far as the way they do things. Flus failed in Chicago for good reason. He never could grasp the idea of matching his scheme to his talent he had. It got him fired quickly. It might here.

To be fair, I am not sure there are many if any DC that could fix this defense as is. Bland and Overshown may help but we have some players that are just bad. Can see why Bills gave up on Elam. He looks lost. Plus his D requires a strong front 4. Something we also don't have. Eze is moving the needle in the right direction however.

This team has bottom five talent. That is very obvious. If you believe different you are just buying more of Jerry’s cheese. They need a top five coach to coach them up. Instead we got a never has been and never will be. You think Jerry would have known this and hired a top five coach. No he could not do that. He needed a sock puppet who would go along with whatever Jerry wanted and could help sell more of his cheese to the fans and media to make money. This franchise is ground hog day for 30 years and the people keep buying in. It’s time to ask yourself a question. Have you had enoigh? Somehow, someway the message needs to be sent to Jerry. Honestly: Schotty is the LEAST of concern. He's had the team prepared to play all 3 games and his decision making has been sound.

I actually like the Offense: the problem is the chicken-**** $60M QB that won't throw the ball to anyone not standing by themselves.

And trying to pad stats @ the half yard line *with the game still kinda in play* when your RB next to you hasn't had a negative run all day.

We have more glaring problems than "dink and dunk Dak". I'll give dak the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe he's been told to try to establish time consuming drives to keep the porous defense off the field, but that process only works when you have talent on Offense. We have 8 win talent on offense and 2 win talent on Defense.
Gonna be a really long season.

its his first year as head coach, sometimes you gotta go through the pain before you find your way.

but this is when even if you are losing, you can create a culture that will stay for the next few years. a culture that abhors losing. where players feel sick to their stomachs after a loss. not, "oh well we'll get them next time, go team!"
