I read your comment and immediately thought of classic Python:Now here's a new topic.

I read your comment and immediately thought of classic Python:Now here's a new topic.

This aint golf or tennis. It's a team sport.Nope.
Aikman, Staubach, & Morton all lead Dallas to the SB.
Meredith and White got us to multiple championship games.
That's your top 5.
Results matter far more than stats do especially since the rules have changed so much over the decades.
Dak still has a chance to crack the top 5, but it's too late for Romo.
Not like we had alot of QBs. Shoot, Staubach, Aikman, Romo and Dak take up 40 years of our 60 year existenceThey are both top 5 Cowboys quarterbacks of all time. Jerry is the problem.
Peyton Manning, the new Prescott. It’s always better to watch us lose.Except Romo was up against the soon to be super bowl champs led by Peyton freaking manning. And he put 52 on us I believe and Romo had 49? Epic game and way better than the sad crap we saw Sunday night. Winners don't accept a tie.
So Dak is going to be on here? He's our head mouthbreather.I didn't know he was a typically low-IQ person, but hey, I guess I'll agree with you.
Sad how people always leave out Danny White. Not like we had alot of QBs. Shoot, Staubach, Aikman, Romo and Dak take up 40 years of our 60 year existence
Nice speech, but you didn’t actually prove anything. Stats and awards don’t erase the fact that Dak comes up short when it matters most. Top-10 regular-season numbers don’t mean much if they vanish in January. That’s what people are pointing to — not just box scores, but results when it counts.Hey... from what I've read, not only is he those things you've mentioned, Ive also heard the same usual bunch of low IQ cowards say that Dak was a bum, and below average.
Yet they never could justify what they said about him with these two simple questions.....
1. How does a below average, bum quarterback place himself in the top 10 out of 64+ NFL quarterbacks, his whole career every season he finished a season healthy, become an All-Pro and became an MVP candidate?
2. What are the names of other below average, bum quarterbacks who have been perennial top ten, became an All-Pro and MVP candidate?
I EASILY trash and own the low IQ, Dak hating, mouth breathing cowards EVERY time with just these two simple questions. Not one of them has ever been able to answer those questions. You can always silence the dumb with intelligence.
Maybe you can tell us why all of the low IQ crew avoid those questions like an addict who owes his dealer money.
Nice speech, but you didn’t actually prove anything. Stats and awards don’t erase the fact that Dak comes up short when it matters most. Top-10 regular-season numbers don’t mean much if they vanish in January. That’s what people are pointing to — not just box scores, but results when it counts.
So here’s a question for you:
If Dak is as elite as you claim, where are the playoff wins and Super Bowl appearances? Until you can answer that, all the All-Pro and MVP talk is just noise
Whoa, that was a lot of words to basically say… ‘Dak has impressive regular season stats.’ Congrats, you don’t call him elite, but you’re still defending him like he’s the second coming of Brady.First of all I have posted MANY times on this board that Dak is NOT an elite quarterback. So where did you see me call him elite?? If you did NOT see any post of me calling him elite..... why would you feel the need to lie?
Ive mentioned times that Dak has come up short when we needed him the most.
I stated that many people here said Dak is below average and a bum....
You haven't answered the questions I've asked them. How can an average bum quarterback at the NFL level be perennial top ten out of 64+ quarterbacks, become an All-Pro and MVP candidate?
Who are the other below average bum quarterbacks to have been perennial top ten, became an All-Pro and MVP candidate??
What are their names???? Certainly Dak couldn't possibly be the first one in NFL history, correct? Nope Dak isn't elite. We all know that. But again, please answer the questions i clearly posted above that his haters keep avoiding.
I'll patiently wait......
Then you asked were is his his post season success?? It isn't impressive, but last time I checked, those are team stats. If not.... then according to your logic, Kaepernick was a better quarterback than both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson because Kaepernick led his team to a Superbowl.
Trent Dilfer showed that he's better than those quarterbacks i listed above and many more because he went to a Superbowl and WON a Superbowl ring.
According to your logic, everything I've posted about Kaepernick and Dilfer is spot on.
No doubt good enough ,while not elite , to build around. We just never built a great defense around them and our top offenses with them wasn’t enough for more success. They are both top 5 Cowboys quarterbacks of all time. Jerry is the problem.
Whoa, that was a lot of words to basically say… ‘Dak has impressive regular season stats.’ Congrats, you don’t call him elite, but you’re still defending him like he’s the second coming of Brady.
Here’s the thing: being in the top 10 or making All-Pro ballots doesn’t make a quarterback great if it never translates to playoff wins. That’s the real measure. You even admitted it — Dak has come up short when it matters most.
As for your questions about other ‘average’ quarterbacks making All-Pro or MVP ballots — the point isn’t to list names. The point is that stats and awards don’t excuse failures in the postseason. Kaepernick, Dilfer, Allen, Jackson — yes, they all have stats, but the question is, who wins when the stakes are highest? That’s what separates good quarterbacks from great ones.
So go ahead and defend the numbers, but don’t act like those numbers erase January reality. In the end, the scoreboard is the scoreboard
Another key difference:Except Romo was up against the soon to be super bowl champs led by Peyton freaking manning. And he put 52 on us I believe and Romo had 49? Epic game and way better than the sad crap we saw Sunday night. Winners don't accept a tie.
Dak would have melted and faded away in that game only dak bots like you think otherwiseDak didn't throw a pick, Romo did..... so that's another key difference.
And Dak's gonna get to a championship game. Romo isn't.Dak would have melted and faded away in that game only dak bots like you think otherwise
^ This. I know it has been a dozen years, but there were virtually no 'beloved' threads and posts made on behalf of Tony Romo following that particular Dallas/Denver game. At least, there were practically none made on this site. Perhaps some members are remembering comments made elsewhere and are projecting their recollections here..?These people claiming how Romo was blindly "beloved" while Dak gets "maligned" are intentionally misrepresenting what actually happened.
What evidence can you show that Dak can do what Romo did not?And Dak's gonna get to a championship game. Romo isn't.
