Dak Critics haven't been proven wrong

It a bit confused by all this. Dak is just back to what he was before last years injury, maybe around the 7th or so best qb in the league (just to grab some #). Remember he was in the MVP discussion in 23. I dont see anything new here.

There's nothing new. The same rehashed shtuff we always see this time of year.

The rational people will let it play out and see. They'll get ridiculed for not being fans. So be it.

The truth is that none of this stuff matters anymore.
The damage is done.
Dak fans got what they wanted, Dak is rich, and the Cowboys we grew up loving are gone forever.

And why are you being such a middle.school drama queen? Gone forever!? Really! That time of the month for you?

He is playing at an Elite level and seems to have reached a point similar to Romo where in 2014 things finally began to click and he reached a level where he figured out the game at a high level.
I hope Dak continues on this progression and shows that he has overcome any deficiencies he displayed previously and shows that he has reached Elite status.

Dak is an bad NFL QB. 2 games or 10 where he puts up good stats dont change that.

He is bad because of his skillset and what he is able to do.
He did not show anything new during his NFL career that proves otherwise. Instead he shows week for week what he is not able to do.

The Dak fans always come out when we win a game or he has some good looking stats that say essentially nothing about QB play.

Stats are there to sell the NFL product. They are tailored to be easy to follow and so they fit the shallow media talk.
Football is a product. Its only goal is to earn money. Not to deliver real value or real information. Its capitalistic not cultural.
NFL stats are the fast food to the game for the have-to-be-entertained dumbo. Who then thinks he understands something and can brag about what he knows.

Eat crap, drink crap and view our commercials.
We throw in some meaningless easy to follow infos that fit your emotions. So you think you have a clue and feel good.
You then buy more of our soft drinks, our ultra-processed industrial food and watch more of our commercials.

I don't get it, what exactly is he doing? We're in a league right now where Lamar Jackson, Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones are able to carve up defenses. Dak is still top 15 in the easiest passing era.

He is what he is. He didn't just finally "get it" after 10 seasons.

“We don’t play the Jets and Giants every week” they say when the Giants just beat the anti-lock brakes off of the Shegals. The goalposts get moved to meet the agenda.

Had we lost those two games, you guys would’ve crashed out on him, but we beat them and now it’s oh, it was only the Jets and Giants. You guys can’t have it both ways. Whatever works to fits your agenda. Look, I just want the team to win. They have to play who league schedules them to play, and a win IS a good thing right? You can continue to hope that he fails so you can be right. I’m just not into that.

  • Against Losing Teams: 55-17 against teams with losing records
When you look at his record it shows winner but context always matters with data and statistics!

Do this for a dozen other NFL QBs and the records will be very similar. Nothing new to see here.

Do you mean the other dozen NFL QBs from teams that are perennially selecting in the top 15 of the draft every year?

Not saying I will, but I had a thought of researching this as a comparison with other quarterbacks. My questions are for clarification. Does 'against winning teams' and 'against teams with losing records' mean what the opposing team's entire season record ended up being? Or does it mean how many wins and losses they had for the game when they played Dallas?

For example:

New York was 0-4 entering last week's game. This would classify the Jets as a team with a losing record Dallas beat at that time.

If New York somehow managed to get their season on track and finished above .500, they would technically be a winning team in 2025 that Dallas beat earlier in the season.

I would go with overall record when the season is over. Most of your winning teams will be playoff teams and we know how Dak is far below Aikman and Staubach when it comes to playoff success.

Just looking back at Aikman there were several times Dallas beat teams such as Washington, SF, and GB when those teams were all recent SB winners or strong playoff teams.

Not a big enough sample size (this season) to judge Dak too harshly. Still lots of games to be played and plenty of opportunities for Dak and the team to succeed.
