I feel your frustration. I was pissed, too.... but I'm questioning the play call on 1st down more than anything on that last series. We were counting chickens trying a screen pass to run clock and to make up for the lack of running game and flat out got caught with our pants down. That needed to be a slant to Pickens. We needed 20 yards max for Aubrey, and we tried high risk, low reward play call for negative five. That's on the play caller 1000%. Pickens was the hot hand tonight.

Only Cowboy fans can complain about the QB and the 4th best scoring offense instead of the 2nd worst scoring defense. If Micah was still here people would be complaining that he 'disappeared' when it mattered and didn't get 5 sacks to make up for how terrible everyone else is. He's gone and so there is no star left on defense to blame, so yeah I guess that leaves Dak and maybe CeeDee when he is back.

The OP clearly isn't blaming Dak for the loss just saying the offense didn't do much in the 4th Qtr. I don't see how anyone could say otherwise. Both offenses had been moving up & down the field quite easily and then ours just stalled.

Throw whatever reasons you want out there but Dak can't be completely blameless can he?

Nobody made Dak dump it off twice in a row. Dak wasn’t getting any help from the running game, but some times in today’s NFL the QB must use his legs to extend plays. Dak did not do that in the 4th quarter when we needed him to step up and make a play.
