I literally DID talk about it citing two playoff games which Dak either handed the defense a lead or a tie late in the game. In one case they held up and the other they didn't. The reason I am not about to research every game winning drive in attempt to decide if it was a good team or a bad team is simple.. It's a fool's errand. People who seek to discredit Dak have an automatic game reclassification mechanism which converts any game we win into a small game and any team we beat a bad team. Doesn't matter if that team ends up going to the Super Bowl a few weeks later (like Philly in 2022) .. when the Cowboys beat them on a game winning drive led by Dak they became a bad team. As soon as the horn sounded on that game they instantly became a good team again and went to the Super Bowl. Same with the Lions in 2023.. Dak leads the offense to 10 points in the last 7 minutes of the game to take the lead.. The defense ALMOST handed it back but Dan Campbell's shenanigans bailed them out. The Lions were in the NFC Championship game 5 or 6 weeks later.. but that night they were a bad team.. Why? Because the Cowboys beat them and Dak and his 345 yards passing and 2 TDs were a big reason why. So since Dak "fails every time" in those situations and the Cowboys "never beat good teams.".. then those two teams, despite both making deep playoff runs that season, clearly sucked..I wasn't goal post moving. just talking with you.
Can;t have a discussion on different things, eh? Fine. MUST be afraid to talk about it.
