I am all for going to get solid veterans to upgrade the unit. They also have to stop drafting these injured players as they do nothing if they are unavailable.
There are plenty of examples of teams doing the very thing ,
I mean the Eagles did it with their linebacker the Dean, but you act like because we went and did it with Clark that it's unusual now if these guys were really good ,which by the way one of the reasons a lot of people stayed away from Will Howard or whatever his name is from Michigan because he was from Michigan and was what injury prone and now look he's one of the best rookies in the league because a team took a shot on him even though he had some negativities on health issues and whether he was overrated because of the team he came from..
Get what you're saying I admit the two 2009 draft and the 2023 draft stands out and that's hard to do but when you waste full drafts on reaches and need instead of taking the best player available, I get it..
need to give these players a chance. Because you never know they could be the next to All Pro there have been plenty of players that have had really bad injuries like Jalen Smith in college and then once they get back they'll get back to that reason they should have been picked in the top 5 I know it's hard to fathom but that is what they're doing they're looking at the talent and they go and they should bounce back but when they don't you know what I've seen healthy players go in the top 10 that were bust for no other reasons that they were over drafted..
Occasionally taking a chance on a player who has to have time to recover from an injury they got in their final season in college you know what it has worked out I've seen some work out pretty well....

I agree where we're at now is we cannot do this in multiple drafts you have a poor draft in 2023 and then you go in 2024 and you reach on a few players mainly injury on Revel but who knows he could be the next Josh Norman as floor maybe without the controversy..lol I don't know it's his ceiling Do we like Richard Sherman I mean I'm talking about lengthy larger corners who don't mind mixing it up you know they tackle that is why he was drafted that he's tough he likes to tackle he's pretty good in coverage..
I do believe 2024 draft will actually work out when you really look at it deep,
I think Booker is going to be a corner piece for a long time on the OL, Ez- E has had a lot of pressures and he's got some top ratings he's right up there with Abdul Carter who went where yeah that's right went really high in the draft, he's supposed to be the next Parsons but he's not delivering right now, so sometimes it takes a little while to develop, and now if Revel comes back and does anything this year and maybe it'll take till next year to find out but I don't think this is a bad draft at all it's just yes it's delayed it is hurting this team currently..
the major mistake the Cowboys made in the offseason and it's the only free agent that we let go that we should have kept yes none other than JLew.
The Front office new that we had a lot of rehab going with most of our corners there weren't many that were healthy and you had no idea when they were going to come back and then you draft one that's injured and needs time to come back and you let a corner go that was healthy and playing well..
I don't have any other regrets of anything else they did as far as free agents that they let go but Lewis was a terrible idea to let him go not just in hindsight we were saying that during the offseason I was looking at who you wish they didn't let go and he was number one on most of our lists and they are regretting it right now...
But they need to go after healthy studs in this draft that are ready to play game one in the first three rounds they must hit on these guys and probably all defense unless George Pickens gets away that we might need to get a receiver although we do have extra picks so we can get 4-5 players in the first 3 rounds.. If they know what they're doing move around 'cause they're also if George Pickens leads probably gonna have an extra two or a 3 at worst so this draft can be big overhaul this defense in one offseason with a couple free agent additions.
