The kind of actual gm that could pull off a trade for George Pickens.
I was totally on board with the GP trade, being confident he was an excellent WR needing a change.
But, seeing how the front office has completely bungled what was already going to be a tough season, I’ve lost hope that any of our good players will ever help us with a deep playoff run.
Any success would be in spite of, not because of, Jerry and co.
So, I’ll root like crazy during the games, get excited for big plays, and be happy for whatever wins we have, but I can no longer have hope for the future.
With GP, I’ve resigned myself to seeing the compensatory third, because actually extending GP, something I was once in favor of, seems like a waste of time, his and ours.
The only reason any player should *choose* to be here is to collect the biggest bag possible. Our Owner/GM doesn’t know how to win. Only a fool would join us if winning a championship was a priority.
Jerry’s complete mishandling of the offseason has me as down in the dumps about the team as I’ve been since the late 80s.
He’s just awful, Rambo. Simply terrible at the job of being the GM of a professional football team. Every move that turns out for the good just feels like luck because there are five other completely boneheaded decisions right behind it.
The Cowboys deserve better and Cowboy fans damn sure deserve better.
It feels like he’s a traitor to the star.
