I am not playing. So how did I give up?Speak for yourself on giving up before the season started.
Jerry gave up by not doing enough in FA, and trading Micah for future picks.

Or Jeffrey Simmons.Or pull off a trade for Trey Lance. Or pull off a trade for Joey Galloway. Or pull off a trade for Roy Williams. Or pull off a trade for Jonathan Mingo...
And when he asks for $32+ million per season in March everyone here will call him selfish and greedy and whine “he’s not a team player, what a waste of another draft pick”. And they’ll hate his agent, even more, and eventually blame Jerry for fostering a bad relationship with the guy.And here we are without Cee Dee and having arguably the best offense in the entire NFL.
Breaking news..NEW linebacker. Just SIGNED BY Jerry Jones. GUARANTEES to bring back toughness to a unit he calls soft
Get ready to package two number 1's for someone who isn't worth that much in trade.
You gave up on the season saying it was over before it started. Your words.I am not playing. So how did I give up?

Of course y’all will. I never said otherwise. I was just responding to your quote “Most teams knew better than to use a 3rd to invite trouble. Desperate teams do desperate things.”And when he asks for $32+ million per season in March everyone here will call him selfish and greedy and whine “he’s not a team player, what a waste of another draft pick”. A blind man is able to see it.
Pickens, and Mulugheta, are loving every minute of this $ea$on $o far.Of course y’all will. I never said otherwise. I was just responding to your quote “Most teams knew better than to use a 3rd to invite trouble. Desperate teams do desperate things.”

Pickens is getting 3.6 mil from the Cowboys this year.Pickens, and Mulugheta, are loving every minute of this $ea$on $o far.

Yes. As mandated by league rules. Same as any team would pay him. Not like he or any NFL team could have paid him more or less. Jerry is so shrewd. Almost as smart as the typical Cowboys fan.Pickens is getting 3.6 mil from the Cowboys this year.![]()
Leave it to big Jer!So you have a strong LB draft coming up and Jerry is gonna trade for one now, that probably has 1 yr left on his deal. Seems par for the course
I'm loving it too. So lucky to have Pickens.Pickens, and Mulugheta, are loving every minute of this $ea$on $o far.

Not luck. It was a legitimate trade. So far, anyway.I'm loving it too. So lucky to have Pickens.
Aside from the last sentence, it wasn't strange at all. Most players who are troublemakers don't quit being troublemakers. You think Pickens is the exception. What do you base that on?Strange take.
Yep, like flushing money down the toilet. Jerry is not getting anyone who at this point will turn this defense around. Even Dick Butkus, Ray Lewis or Dexter Coakley in their prime would have any impact.Spending draft picks on a lost season is soooooo dumb.
Unless some team is literally having a fire sale and giving players away, keep the picks.
I think the Ravens will have to get to eight loses before they'd concede their season. I believe they see themselves as a team that can go on a run. But Smith is exactly the type of player I'd trade for instead of drafting some second-round LB and hope he works out.Should have traded for him last time. I wanted him bad….
