Dak's message to both the Offense and Defense: "Shut up, and Step up!"

If there were a SB for talking out of both sides of your mouth, Jerry and Dak would have won them all

The gall of a “leader” coming off a ZERO TD and 2 interception performance to tell others to step up
he is walking a fine line there. I honestly don;t think he did enough "me first" looking in the mirror. I would also prefer that he chew some ax on the sidelines like Aikman and Brady.

Some would cry "so he should do it publically?" Yes...like now...just do it when it matters more.

But he's Jerry's toy...what do we expect?

That was my point though. When Dak peovides generic “insubstantial” comments, fans get mad.

There is literally no option for him that would not result in half the comments here being critical.

It’s just annoying seeing the tantrums from fans. I get it we’re all frustrated, but all of the teams issues begin and end with Jerry.

Parsing Dak’s comments as being some type of “gotcha”, is just dumb.
So ...Ceedee can sit there like a ghost..pouting. But fans can't.

Dak can couch his frustration in carefully selected bites...and WE have to as well?

Why would someone listen to Dak — he is the highest paid player in the NFL but when hen plays a good defense he chokes. The players know this and they also see how Dak kisses up to the Joneses. There is some jealousy but the players know Dak is not the answer.
You are delusional. Its thoroughly documented how respected and loved he is by his team mates and coaches. Hes been nothing but a class act since arriving in Dallas.

But over emotional tools need to vent and place blame on a singular person. We'll ignore the fact hes been one of the top 3-4 qbs all year.

Apparently Philly, GB and Carolina are all choke jobs by Dak. What a bunch of nonsense.

Yep. It’s fairly obvious to most our talent level on defense is severely lacking. One guy in our secondary was just off the Practice Squad.

Secondary is decimated with injuries. No pass rush, etc. The list goes on.

Good news we have a couple 2-5 teams coming up next two games
Those 2-5 teams will give us hopes and dreams, soon to be crushed by our three-week gauntlet of Philly, KC, and Detroit. Hopefully some of our wounded will be back after the bye. Hopefully, Philly and KC's won't be back in time for us.

Well, I can sympathize. I get annoyed opening videos lasting longer than a soap opera and discover the bulk of them have absolutely nothing to do with what I was directed to watch and listen.

Players don’t respect so called leaders

Intangibles like leadership only matter when you can deliver the tangibles ie performance

Stop talking and speaking empty words
Look at where you are coming up short
Work to improve your deficiencies ( hint these are not ‘best shape of my life’ videos). Work on reading defenses so you dont get confused

Then, when you are doing your part, then you can lead and talk

Dak hasnt done that in 10 years so the players can say whatever but they dont really respect him because as soon as big moments come ul in big games, they know he will crap the bed. If the team is down 10 in Q4 against a good defense in a big game, its already game over

This is more like it. I've been waiting for Dak to get mad. We are all tired of the gaslighting, slogans, and platitudes.

Dak is the only one with the political power in the Cowboys organization that can do this.
That's what a lot of my family and friends have said. They say it's about time Dak gets upset with his teammates and let's them know it, instead of always covering up for them. Everyone needs to step their game up and be held accountable.

He does that publicly all the time. He consistently says he needs to play better. This is him calling out the entire team, which he is a member of. I too would prefer he get into some faces on the sideline and chew some guys out WHEN he is playing well and others aren't. He rightfully didn't specifically call out any person or small group on the team, it was directed at the whole team. Yes, he should chew guys out on the sideline, on the field, and in the locker room, but those guys should chew him out when he has a game like he did too. Just don't claim that when he has a bad game he doesn't step up and own it. He does.

I am saying this as someone who has criticized him a lot in the past.

I wish Jerry would get more people to carry dak, from dak's crying, he doesn't have enough people carrying him on offense.

IMO what's getting lost here a bit is for him to come out publicly with such a statement .....tells me there is a ton of frustration and B.....ing going on in the locker room and he's tired of it. It is the first time I have seen Dak go after his teammates with such strong behavior. I love it......he needs to do more.

"Dak owns it".

Oh...yes....he really does OWN....a lot. Thanks to jerry.

I'm confused. So you NOW want him to do it publically. When before you said it was crass. Undignified. NOT a leader. A leader should chew them out privately.

He needs to do it ...ON THE FIELD. Not in a PR stunt.

The DC needs to step it up big time. My vote is still for DLC Aaron Whitecotton. I don't think he can do any worse than Eberflus. Clearly, the defense has stopped playing for him.

Grown man don't fall for that bs. Especially from the softest person on the team, which is normally the quarterback.

Brady was a master at chewing teammates out during a game. Big time. He didnt care who saw it.
Yes Aikman was good at it too. So was Peyton Manning. But Brady was on a different level imo

 Exactly, right, Dak!

Everyone, including yourself, need to shut up and step up their game from now on. Stop complaining, and stop making excuses. It's time to either Step Up and win.... or keep making excuses and keep losing.

So in order to get everyone to stop pointing their finger at teammates and telling each other to step up.. he points his finger at all his teammates and tells them to step up.

Got it.

What a great leader. MVP MVP MVP!
