Makes no sense given our record and the chances of making the playoffs.

The NFC West might send three teams to the playoffs and throw in Chicago, Carolina, Detroit....

We have no chance of making the post season.

We kept both our first round picks this year and we will still have a first round pick next year via GB... how can you not like this trade?

I tend to agree that this is too little too late. On the other hand, I know he's likely better than anyone they were getting with either of those picks. You and I both know he's not going to package picks for a QB so...this is as good as it gets.

I like this trade. Him and Clark on the d-line will light years ahead of why Dallas has had since the 90’s at d tackle.
Find a pass rusher next season and hopefully Reevel turns out to be a player a comer and this defense is going to be solid next year.
Dallas finally figures out that a strong defense starts at the d tackle positions.

I dont think they will retain at his 2026 number. They may try to renegotiate his deal at a lower number. He is still pretty versitile and could be guy right now thats very effective in smaller doses(think Ojomo)

It's ok to be a buyer as long as the guys u are bringing in will be here several years. U aren't going to get a player of his caliber in the draft.
