$20 million for Clark, and at least $28 million for Pickens. Does Jerry have it in him to figure it all out? He is not the brightest bulb in the marquee in deference to the salary cap.

He's rolling over 20M. Dallas has one of the best cap situations in football.

Clark will only be owed 8M base plus whatever portion of the 11M he is charged when they flip that roster bonus to regular bonus. Right now the entire 11M is counting against next year's cap but about 8M of that will likely poof into future hits.

They did a really nice salary cap reset this year as they have sucked on the field. Should have started that last year but better late than never.

They still have many bad deals given the level Steele, Diggs, Bland, maybe even Ferguson are playing at, so it is hardly all roses but at least there is some hope now.

Well, i honestly don't know. But he has played well throughout his career against all sorts of lines. He's not a superstar but a very solid player. Thought of playing halfway decent against the run is such a foreign but exciting thought.

I’m totally fine with next year’s first for a Top-5 DT.

Also glad Mazi is gone.

My only worry is Williams is getting a bit older. But it’s stupidly hard to find a great DT so I won’t hate on this move.

It’s a win if he can provide us 3-4 years of great DT play.
