If you think Dak played well

I laugh when The front page of this forum is littered with threads like “Is Dak elite?” And “Dak has the top QBR in the NFL” but when its time he actually plays like those threads suggest its everybody elses fault

His long ball was bad. Should have had 2 touch downs when Ceedee was way behind the defense. One he threw an uncatchable ball out of bounds. One Cedee caught but we settled for a fg.

If you think Dak was the problem today, no one can help you. Having said that, if they move on from Dak at some point soon, I won’t cry.

Likewise, if you think Dak wasn't or isn't part of the problem then no one can help you either.

Im seeing a lot of fans “relieved” that the defense should shoulder the blame for this loss as opposed to lumping Dak in there as well.

He played a bad game. The lazy will look at the stat sheet and see he threw for over 300 yards and the ints were the fault of the receivers.

He was inaccurate on several deep passes (got CD concussed).

Threw that horrific backwards pass instead of throwing it away

Led 0 Td drives in the first half against a team missing most of their secondary.

LOL. He brought us back to 30-27 with almost 10 minutes left to play in the game. Too bad the defense gave up a TD in 2 minutes 35 seconds right afterwards. And another one in 1 1/2 minutes after we scored an FG to make it a one score game with almost 4 minutes left in the game. Could he have played better? Of course. But if the QB brings his team back with 10 minutes left to play. He did his job. Do you want him to play defense too?

He's always had a bad long ball. Even the completions he gets the ball is typically under thrown so the WR has to come back to get it. If he could lead them it would be easy TDs.

I’ll be one of the first to crap in Dak, but I think he played well enough to win. I don’t think BS did him any favors calling long developing play calls while having T’s that were obviously struggling. Whatever play calls he was dialing up lead to a bunch of OPi’s. The Wr’s were lazy or just flat out terrible with the exception of Lamb/Flo (even though Flo directly lead to INT.
There was the deep ball to CD was just a bad throw on Dak, but I think he overall played well enough to win.

You starting this thread would suggest otherwise, but fair enough brother. Bad night and disappointing for them not to show up after the last three weeks. But I think, unfortunately, we all knew it was coming.

Yes, and for the very simple reason that he's the highest paid player in NFL history. He is paid more than Tom Brady was, but we get Tony Romo 2.0 instead.

This game mirrored a lot of Dak’s playoff losses.

I think everything you said is correct — he played well while bringing us back. But Dak also played a role in a quiet, ineffective first half that had us trailing by multiple possessions at the break.

And as we’ve seen, It’s difficult to fully execute those kinds of comebacks against playoff-caliber teams.
