Do you think it is possible that ChatGPT is compiling all the historical evidence it can to provide you with an averaged out answer which is accurate in a general sense but doesn't take into account all the specifics of any given situation?

Maybe I'm an idiot but to hear this level of ranting about ChatGPT being the be all end all in a discussion like this is terrifying. And I'm not talking about football.

Those non-division games on the road are a big downfall for him.

Sometimes quarterbacks gotta find a way to win a duel, the nfl sometimes has these games where the lines are allowed to hold a bit and you’ll have to keep up with an accurate qb like goff

Your question indicates that you are indeed likely NOT an idiot.

So, two things…first, I asked “Is 91 yards of rushing in an NFL football game in 2025 considered average, above average, excellent, or below average? How would 376 yards of passing be in that same game?”

I asked that because of someone’s assertion that Dak played terribly while our running game was average. Since my own assessment was the opposite, I thought I’d ask ChatGPT.

Second, I do not think ChatGPT is infallible, but I think it is beyond comprehension for some anonymous poster on here to suggest not only that that the collective wisdom (including statistics of every NFL game ever played) is wrong, but that his or her own quite-possibly-pimple-faced-14-year-old opinion is superior to ChatGPT.

I think that is an incredible thing, actually, especially when one’s argument that the collective wisdom of all mankind on the subject is invalid because “facts > feelings”. It’s perhaps the most illogical thing I’ve heard in some time.

I can’t be the only one who finds that exceptionally ignorant, but maybe I am.

I think it's a mistake to base your entire logic (and "argument") on just stats. The pure stats are usually pretty reliable numbers.

What you do with them is the risky part.

I laugh when The front page of this forum is littered with threads like “Is Dak elite?” And “Dak has the top QBR in the NFL” but when its time he actually plays like those threads suggest its everybody elses fault

Thank you for saying how I feel. I want my QB to succeed, but I’m getting tired of the candy-sweet, nauseating threads following a win on how Dak is elite; Dak is a top-5 QB; Dak has the best QBR; we have the best team in football; Jerry is GM of the year; is Shotty an elite coach? Some humility and perspective - good or bad - is sorely needed.
