I have no issue for a player earning his spot and playing time. Nothing should be handed to any player. As some have mentioned, 1 missed block, could mean Dak out for the season or worse.

You are implying that he is putting in the proper amount of work and doing all the right things and moving TOWARDS earning something, when in reality he probably isn't meeting the requirements for earning playtime.

There are a lot of reasons he might not be playing.

If he was flashing that much in practice I'm sure he would be playing. I personally think it's a combo of not always doing the things the right way and that the coaches don't think he helps the team anymore than the other guys on the roster.

And that hasn’t been the case here since Parcells. Or at least didn’t appear to be. It might be different if it was one of Jerry’s pet cats like Zeke. Although, CeeDee and Pickens might qualify as Jerry pet cats and Schotty benched them, albeit for a single series against a JUCO team. But even Jimmy Johnson didn’t cut his nose off to spite his face.

I agree. Exactly what does this kid have to do ?. Forget all this BS and get him on the field, in a game, and feed him the ball. He's got speed that no other RB on this team has. It's gotten to be a joke. I mean, what exactly is "the standard"? How is it some of these horrible defensive players just seem to be given chance after chance every week. Are they meeting "the standard" ? Ridiculous.
