Twitter: Schottenheimer on Jaydon Blue playing

Schotty isn't living up to the standards of his own standards. So.... How can you tell your players this????

No that's not what people said People like me very accurate he's the same height weight and has the same speed and abilities that Jamir Gibbs has that doesn't mean he could be the same NFL football player doesn't mean he has the same mental makeup and catches on to the playbook and responsibilities maybe he doesn't have the same workout habits but yeah he's an absolute carbon copy of gibbs...

That's what people were saying but thanks for trying to twist that nobody said he was Jimmy Ear Gibbs we said he has the same exact attributes.. Highlight reels from Texas would you like me to post it also looks like Jamir Gibbs It's just not registering in the NFL, yet.

It may never whatever reason he's in the doghouse it doesn't matter it took Rico and Davis more than three years to find their way onto this roster and do anything in the NFL and somehow you're all over blue because why i'm just curious of why he doesn't get the time to develop before people write him off...

That's the ridiculous takes.

FYI Miles Austin did nothing for his first three years I remember when people talked about Romo he would never become anything in this league because he was undrafted and he just was raw the game was too big for him blah blah blah.

This can happen we just seen this with the corner Wright over there in Chicago Took him a while huh circle around figure out how to be a pro get a little bit better catch the eye of the coaching staff in the right situation and bam he's a solid player now isn't that funny...

Triggered…..When someone responds with a dissertation usually means we found one of culprits

At this point, play him already. We have nothing left to play for. Unless you're on "team tank", then you should definitely play him!! I kid, I kid. LOL
Play Blue. I am looking forward to see if he fumbles. There obviously are several issues with him.

Translation, he’s too dumb or bad attitude to play and will likely be cut next offseason or two
Can't block from backfield is most likely the reason for not playing. He will need to have a strength program in the off season.

I'm going with the Glenn Smith comments on him being borderline lazy.

Players came to his defence, and he tried to put on a good show in training camp, but the results are damning. While the season is still in play, and the RB room thin 14 games into the season this kid is not seeing meaningful snaps.

My guess, he can't pass block worth a darn.

If he gets into the game an opposing team's defensive QC assistant should be working with the DC and LBs coaches to scheme blitzes against Blue to see if his presence in the game tips off that it is a run.

Send your fastest LB who is bigger than Blue, and that's not very hard to do on arun blitz to see if you can pile drive Blue into the dirt so he quits or you put Dak to the ground and give him happy feet.
Yeah, no. All of Blue's pass protection this season has actually been solid. Definitely much better than Javonte Williams. The one who you are badly describing with poor pass protection is actually Javonte Williams, not Jaydon Blue. Go rewatch their tapes. The film doesn't lie.

Blue is not the type of RB shotty likes.
That is the problem. Clearly, Blue was a Jerry pick, not a Schotty one. That's where Schotty is so wrong. All season, Schotty has done it his way with the bigger but slower RBs. How has that worked out?

Epic fail.

Read here JB was Gale Sayers, Tony Dorsett and Barry Sanders rolled into one according to you after the draft and all preseason. You formed this opinion watching hour after hour of tape so you defiantly know more than the head coach who sees him everyday in practice. Keep the laughs coming it make for great entertainment.
The results have proven Schotty and you followers wrong. Bunch of dumb losers.

You are correct some people just wanted him to fail and that's OK but I've seen guys like Rico and Davis take three years to even get their opportunity Obviously it's immaturity issues and it has nothing to do with his talent level or lack thereof it has nothing to do with him picking up the offense or pass blocking because if that was the case Davis wouldn't be on the field because he got ragdolled the last game when he was depended on when Williams was in and out and Hunter was no longer on the field this dude couldn't pass block at all he's not big enough he's not strong enough to consistently do it and that's why they are backups blue can do it in a smaller sample size as well..

Obviously in the doghouse for his practice habits Maybe he's been late to meetings maybe he's falling asleep in meetings we've seen that before put guys in the doghouse maybe he's not showing up for extra work in the weight room and all that other stuff there are things as a professional that some players take longer to catch on..

Know this if people look at the highlight reels and know what this kid can do as a RB 2 as a situational back they wouldn't be questioning his talent He has not got slower he has not gotten worse since college he just hasn't broke through and it's more the norm than people think people don't always jump right on the field I already mentioned Rico and Davis here like Miles Austin took three years romo took a while to catch on..

And right now Nayshawn Wright I got to keep bringing this up over and over to people that don't get it like this is not new people ragging on this kid like he's never going to make it like he's never going to have the light come on and click and that's just stupid he's got too much talent and we're not introduced fallen situation here this is not a gadget player.

As the size and speed to play in this league he just has to get whatever the coaches are asking him to get....
Well said brother.
