Any of these offenses better than ours?

Dak can’t throw over the MLB on these defenses. He also doesn’t get rid of the ball quick enough.
He can’t fire those screen passes outside to the WRs Quick enough. The Cowboys offense would be awful against any of these teams. That being said, fix the defense and get some dam pedigree at QB!
Yes by the time that ball gets to the wr the db is ready to make a play on the screen I hate it

The Dallas offense doesn't score nearly 30 points vs the bears, rams, Carolina, Jax, buffalo. Dallas's offense looks great vs average defenses or worse, but against good defenses this offense shrinks.
Amen!!!!

All I know is while the wildcard games have been awesome, the teams are really bland and pretty evenly matched. I’ve seen nothing elite all weekend.

Sucks to be out of this thing….

With this Oline, Williams at RB, Lamb and GP, Dak leading them; anyone else in the playoffs better than that? maybe Eagles regarding personnel, but Hurts is purely a bus driver. If somehow we can fix this defense we could contend in the playoffs.....IF we can work around our idiot GM/owner.....never mind.
All of the defenses are.

Our offense would be better than most if not all in the playoffs and before anyone brings up the oh well they had some stinkers

So what

They scored near 500 points

Definitely, just a shame our defence was awful. We could have had a damn good run if our defence wasn't the worst.

Also - for everyone thinking our offense was just as good as those this weekend… Our offense was not that great the last 4 games of the season when we needed it most.

In the second half of each of our last 4 games, we scored 9, 0, 6 and 7 points respectively. I think defenses started figuring out how to stop us. So down the stretch our offense wasn’t that great.
I noticed many of these qbs are making big plays with their legs. I dont think we make a good modern day offense without that.

Fans overrate our offense, I saw they choke plenty of times this year, tackles could not keep 4 clean, they could not score in the clutch, could not run the ball, they got their behind kicked plenty by mediocre defenses.
Good chance we had the worst field position in the NFL with our Defense.

177 drives starting at the 28.6 yard line.

Three games: scores 34-31, 31-27, and 27-24 and the bulk of posters cannot stop talking about playoff defenses and what they mean to winning in the postseason. LOL! Literally in the past few days-the modern NFL does not operate like it used to. There are games that are defensive struggles and there are shootouts. That’s the way the game is played now. Sometimes. SOMETIMES. The offense will just have to deal with the fact that the other team will score lots of points and thus will need to score lots of points to stay in the contest. Regardless to how good the team’s defense is. It’s just a fact-team defense can play a role, but the game is heavily tilted towards offensive firepower now and fans should accept this.

And how many points did the Eagles score in those Superbowls?

People do realise that the Cowboys wouldn't be playing Washington or the Giants in the play offs?
it was the running game and the great defense. forcing Mahomes and their offense to punt in the first half and also intercepted him for a TD return and another time inside the 14 of KC.
2nd half the same thing. first two drives. punt and turnover on downs, giving eagles the ball on KC 47.

meaning through 2.75 quarters...KC had zero points. their first points came with under one minute left in the 3rd quarer.

Eagles offense benefited from their great defense.

Imagine that, the same approach KC has had, compared to Jerry's approach of the offense must over come the weaknesses of the defense.

Jerry thinks marrketing. he never imagined this defense would be this bad. throw bodies at it. he thought they will be middle of the pack, we make the playoffs. who cares we lose in first round and then make promises. Offense sells jersey's, pickens jerseys were flying off the shelf for him. scoring, gets fans attention. he got their attention.

if he really cared about winning championhips he would have changed 15 years ago.

I just watched New England win a game scoring. 16-3....if they scored one TD, they would have won the game. niners held eagles to 19 points, imagine if we won a couple of games like that, with defense playing like that.

even if we would have made the playoffs by a miracle. defense would have given up 40 points...easily.

Football has changed, tilted toward offense. I agree. However, D is still largely determining who moves forward. The games may overall be higher scoring than the old days but it's still the teams that can take away offensive potency that generally win. Carolina almost beat a very good team with limited offense of their own. How many years do we see top offenses get bounced from the playoffs or score significantly less than regular season? It happens all the time. Get yourself a solid D and you will stand a better than average chance of winning.

All of the offenses, in the playoffs, are probably better than ours. The problem here is that some are comparing Regular season performance to post season performance. The teams that succeed in the playoffs are the teams that kick it into another gear, either a game or two before the playoffs or at the playoffs. The Cowboys haven't done that since the 90's. Some people on here seem to think that Playoff games are the same as regular season games.
