You simply don't understand the difference between paraphrasing and quoting. I didn't contradict the spirit of what Dak said...good enough for a paraphrase. Had I used quotes you can say "quote".

Back to football: It's VERY TELLING that you don't want to keep that as the standard for Dak. But you DO want him to get Pickens and $60mm/year. "Get ya money Dak!"
 
Simply going out there and doing it isn’t enough in Dallas.

You have to sell hope constantly. Prescott learned from the very best at selling crap to fans.

I don’t dislike Prescott and don’t think he is the problem, but if I were him I’d hide as much as possible, and be embarrassed about the fact that I demanded every dollar on my own contract instead of demanding that management actually consider signing enough support.

Dak and the offense did plenty to win enough games to get into the playoffs, even though they crapped the bed a couple games. The def let them down and you know it. Paraphrasing is when yourewrite something in your own words while keeping the same meaning. You created a lie and posted as if he said it to gain traction to your thread. A cheap tactic but expected. Yeah I want Pickens and Dak to get their money. For sure. Jerry got it. He does't need you babysitting his pocket book.

If you don’t realize it’s a combination of all those, including the ones who performed badly, I don’t know what to tell you.

And why do you even bring up pro bowlers? I’m sure you don’t think Ferguson is worthy and Shadeur is one.

I think about the only thing you got right is this: "I don’t know what to tell you."

The rest of your post is proof of that. You can tell everyone how to be a fan or reason, but aren't really equipped to persuade or convince. Just assume the superior mindset.

You and the other Stans are so upset that I obligated Dak to PUT MEANING behind what you suspect (or know) to be empty platitudes!

Maybe if Dak defined his season by playoff success instead of stats, the team might have a chance to achieve something more than personal accolades. IMO, Darnold and Maye have surpassed him.
