Dak: I'm about to have my best year

Well, this post is not meant to disrespect anyone, and I am an Native Indian Navajo. Anyway, one time Rockport told me in a PM that the reason I don't care for the way Dak plays football is because he is a black man. I had to laugh my butt off and replied to him if that were the case, I would have to "hate" (his favorite word) about 95% of the damn team if that were the case!

See, I have a lot of black friends, but I do not support BLM. I have a lot of white friends but I do not support the KKK. I do not see color, I see character. So, I hope this post does not get me benched, because I mean no harm. I served eight years in the Military and learned values that many need to learn in civilian life.

Oh well, I digress, so I need to go now, I have weekend gigs coming up with my Blues Band, so I need to get my band together in awhile to practice some tunes, so if I do get benched for a while because of this post, I will be back when the mods allow it to be. lol. Peace and love to all the world.
All good. Godspeed.

Back to football: My reasons for wanting to move on from Dak are substantive...that much should be clear. No one MUST agree with me...I'm cool with and welcome opposing viewpoints. It's just very odd that some are so protective of him getting criticism. I give him kudos for leadership, leadership intangibles, and making strides in his passing skill.

That said, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels already been to championship games and he's had 10 years on the tricycle.

I see metallic blue and sterling silver. Everything else can kick rocks with no socks.

Why do you think he made the title more inflammatory than what Dak actually said?
Probably because he understands Dak says this every year...you're just so glad he only insinuated as much. Any escape hatch for the highest paid player. Can't set the bar too high, can we?

Pay...high. Bar...meh...

I

just told you that I reread them and posting them breaks the rules. Again, your such a melodramatic pants-wetter. "I was threatened....I do declare...where are my pearls...!"

I can share them with a fellow Dak stan if it makes you feel better, but I can only do so privately. Let me know.
Do it.

lol...did TMC Pm you instead of conversing on the forum? lmao.

Looks like TMC is pulling a Rockport, he does that all the time and you should see the crap he says in private that he will not say on the forum. Then he told me to post what he PM'ed me on the forum and I told him it would make me get banned. Sounds like TMC is taking lesson from bi-polar Rockport!
Conversing with that liar says more about you. I’ll happily send you what I said to that tap dancer lol.

This is a case study in how you play the victim:
Me: "I can share them with a fellow Dak stan if it makes you feel better, but I can only do so privately. Let me know."
You: "Do it."
Me: "Hello...name the poster. Are you OK?"
You: "Send it whomever you like....blather, blather, blather...".

I think we're good here.

So he's gonna be better but not have his best year? What expectation is HE setting?

Telling that you're already lowering the bar. Old habits are hard to break, huh?
he just said he still feels like his best football is ahead of him. and i mean that's what you want player to think, right? or would you rather he said "it's all downhill from here" ?

How about he just shut up with the empty slogans he's said a million times before? It comes across like a con job at this point.

"My best".......not "our best."

Does this necessarily translate to the Cowboys having their best to come?

Stats are fun to look at but they don't substitute for winning.

I get what he is trying to say but he has to consider being a little more diplomatic.

Rather than Dak's "best to come", I would rather see a reduction in the number of passing plays and a more even distribution between passes and runs.

Statistically, Tony Romo best season came with the lowest average number of passes per game in his career. He had the #1 rating.

That's because it was 2014, the same season that Murray broke Emmitt's Cowboys record for rushing yards in a season. In effect, less was more. The Cowboys should strive to limit Dak's passes per game to 32 or less.

Dak's passing would be just one aspect of the Cowboy "best to come

Of course, this would depend on the growth of the offensive line with a productive RB.

However, Dak's "best" is completely irrelevant unless the defense dramatically improves.

A better way that Dak could be more useful in advancing the Cowboys "best to come" would be to concentrate on long sustainable drives that rest the defense and keep opponent offenses off the field.
he was asked specifically about his career and what's to come lol. also who's to say "his best" isn't akin to romo's where it's more constrained and consistent and to the teams benefit?

that would require microphones not being put in his face. but regardless, i don't care about the opinion, was just clarifying the fact.

very strange behavior by you my guy.

The follow up question I am interested in hearing from Dak.

How is the team going to do?

He had a pretty good year this past season. I know that will piss some off but it is true.
Going to be real....be real. He was not the issue with this team this season. There is a reason the whole defensive staff was fired or let go.
He most certainly was NOT "the issue".

But if you think he's above ANY criticism or reproach...because "everything else sucked worse"...well let's fight then.

"everything else" sucked so bad Dak looked awesome.

Cool story.
