A little bit of context.......he signed 4 year, $5.5M contract as a 2nd round rookie. This is all too common with players in all sports, not just the NFL. I hate to say this but a lot can be traced back to how they are raised but for most, it comes down to immaturity vs maturity. Some grow up faster than others........

you say that though,

the last time I checked, and I know people break the rules or the rules are flexible,

we're supposed to be talking about Cowboys related stuff actual Dallas Cowboys stuff on the main page,

see this is what you guys can do you can put it in NFL news ,or unrelated news ,and you guys don't have to put all these non-cowboy stories on the front page...

this is the Cowboys zone not the NFL zone, you see that there's different parts of this place...

So, when I open it up my expectations is we're going to be discussing Cowboys, and it should be related to the Cowboys, just because D Law or Parsons used to play for the Cowboys, that's not Cowboys news anymore.


I realize it's a slow time, but I'm tired of hearing about how I don't have to read it,

I'm not supposed to see it, when we signed up here, we're under the impression only Cowboys related stories went in this section, and now if you want to do 6 degrees of separation because we're playing them or there's a trade about to happen between the two teams, OK, there's some flexibility there,

but I don't think you realize how frustrating it is for us to have to see these headlines clogging up the front page about players we no longer like or follow and about games we don't want to follow like the Super Bowl, doesn't have a team in it, that has any cowboy relation at all,

and yet here we're hearing stories about Jim Swartz and the Eagles coaches and other things that have nothing to do with us.

Of course, I don't have to read it ,

but I think that we should not have to even see it because there are Many other sections that that stuff should be put in and again, I'm not in control of it.

so, I'm not going to force it, but I am going to complain about it, there's too many.

how is Jim Swartz have anything to do with the Cowboys and yeah he's on our front page story about him retiring is news this is not the news section this is the Cowboys news section, and again I see where the Eagles in our division, but why do we have to talk about the Eagles coaching situation because it doesn't matter now, until it's worked out..

In case you didn't know certain people get to put whatever they want on the front page of fan zone so it gets responses.

Other folks can come up with a thread that actually has serious cowboy implications and it will be filed into some obscures own where it gets no views or responses.

Heck we had 25 pages on why Bill belichick didn't make the Hall of Fame.

And I think we had another one about Eli Manning.

It is what it is no sense getting upset about stuff you can't control kind of like we can't control how Jerry plays with his toy.
We can't control how this toy is played with either and in the big picture who cares use it for what it is a place to vent and leave it at that
If we're talking about demarcus Lawrence what kills me is that he was tired playing for us in the playoffs.
But he goes to Seattle and we have to listen to Chris collinsworth tell us how he's a force multiplier there and brings the intensity to their defense.

You got family asking for some money. Probably want to "reward" your parents.
Get a big house, cars etc..

NFL rookie contract money for a second rounder like DLaw is probably $5M. When you start hanging out with the studs on $100M deals, and try to keep up with the Joneses, that money goes quick.

A $5M deal is "nice house in a nice neighborhood" money. It's not "mansion and a Rolls Royce" money.

Also, that car hardly looks "beat up". He can also afford every single penny for the maintenance and preventive measures to keep that car running in great shape. Most people who drive cars of that age because they have no other choice, can't afford hardly any of that.

You can tell he spends money to keep that car in good shape.
