Maybe we should just all be cynics like @MountaineerCowboy so that we keep our egos intact when we fall for the BS...again.I'm getting very bi-polar about this off-season already..
One day I'm thinking.. well maybe things are changing.. maybe just maybe..
Then the next day.. what's the point.. things are going to be exactly the same as every other year.
arrrggg.. this team !
I've got 2 already. Marshmallow Boy and the Man with One Leg. 2 guys destined to be Cowboys
The follow-up should've been something to the effect of "Jerry has said his ways haven't been working" (or whatever the actual quote from Jerry was). Stephen should've been pressed to throw his father under the bus... Or something.I didn’t listen because I can’t handle listening to him, but HOW is there no follow up question asking why would they not change what we know doesn’t work??
Or are they not allowed to ask?
The other option is to not utilize critical thinking and buy in yearly, but fail to admit being wrong because of one's own ego.Maybe we should just all be cynics like @MountaineerCowboy so that we keep our egos intact when we fall for the BS...again.
We are all in every year, according to to JerruhAll in.......again
Nobody can be blamed for believing it once or even twice, but........We are all in every year, according to to Jerruh
Smart move not calling out this poster. Funny. I know exactly who you are speaking about. The other option is to not utilize critical thinking and buy in yearly, but fail to admit being wrong because of one's own ego.
Either approach is fine......
The old saying. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.Nobody can be blamed for believing it once or even twice, but........
“We” don’t fall for the BS.Maybe we should just all be cynics like @MountaineerCowboy so that we keep our egos intact when we fall for the BS...again.
There's actually a small core of these fans , but to be honest I'm glad that they're a part of this forum.Smart move not calling out this poster. Funny. I know exactly who you are speaking about.
Bold> Exactly.I can understand the “Jones-speak language”.
Translation: “We always do a good job in the off-season. We’ve just been unlucky. We do things ‘our way’ which is of course the right way. We are comfortable doing things this way because we are always comfortable with ourselves.”
What could possibly go wrong with a front office that does not hold anyone accountable for failure other than mid-level lackeys with no real authority?
You'll never see me tell you you're wrong. Personally, I prefer to keep a tinge of hope — but it's a conscious decision, like giving someone the benefit of the doubt, despite trust never being restored. I have the same thing with people in my life.“We” don’t fall for the BS.
