haha probably. i just think we are at the all in phase.....and not jerry's all in from last year or two.

dak's gonna be 34 at the end of this contract, we need to maximize his time and the prime of all the other key players like quinnen, ceedee, gp, aubrey and the OL. restructure everyone, sign your guys to make a difference and go for broke over the next few seasons. after that, do we want to resign dak to another huge contract in his twilight? chances are we'll have to start over at qb so it won't matter if we are in cap hell.

Have to believe that Parker is going to want guys that knows what he wants and ones that know his scheme, so for me that would be Nakobe Dean first and Quay Walker second. Wouldn't be surprised to see both of them signed by Dallas .

Then I do believe Reese or Styles or Allen will be our first pick in the draft. If buy so stretch of fate we had a chance to get both Reese and Styles, then you have solved the LB and DE positions solved for years to come.

Singleton is a bit of tough guy and enforcer. I watched some of the Broncos games and the dude is always hitting hard, tackling and ripping at the ball.
Might bring some attitude to this defense.

yes he's not the best at coverage, but if you have someone like Overshown rotating with dean you are covered dropping and covering. and then you have a thumper in Singleton.

You did........here is his contract. Notice the 2026 numbers....none guaranteed. He's closer to getting released than getting any of that money. In fact, there is a good chance that a few more LBers will be added to this before free agency begins. Patrick Queen is another name to keep an eye on.

LB and safety I’d like to add in FA. If a downs or styles falls to you then just take them. But safety is one spot I don’t see a day one started falling to us. If the planets aligned and it happened just cut hooker

in the draft... Sonny Styles. 6'4 243lbs. That's like between Sean Lee & LVE with maybe a little more speed.

To really build this D we need to sign 2 goid FA. I ding think safety is falling to us at 12 worth a 12th pick so that would be one of go get. I wouldn’t trade for an expensive guy that costs picks. I’d sit with my DC and say which couple of FA safeties fit what you need? Abd I’d go get one of them. Then you look at next position ypu aren’t likely to get in draft and do the same. Maybe look at an older vet who wouldn’t be a long term deal so that if a guy fell to you at edge or LB you could still take him. CB is one position I think will be there, styles could but I really think bengals will take styles at 10. Cover your bases and draft the best player on the board and don’t worry about position. If you need to fill another hole after the draft some vets always get cut if a team draft that position. We have to go into camp with a CB, LB, edge and safety. I’d rather end up with an extra guy than short a guy

Also, position value should be considered.

Free Agent off-ball LBs are one of the least expensive positions.

DT, Edge, WR, CB and OT are very expensive in FA. I prefer to draft those positions when possible.

It has to be a short and relatively cheap contract for Dean due to the injury issues.
- They basically have to have to have 3 starters for 2 positions due to injury issues with Dean and Overshown.

He’s not even a top 50 free agent and just barely top 100.
