How would you musically rate this year's Super bowl halftime show

I'm not a huge kid Rock fan I like a couple of his tunes.
The guy I like from Detroit is Ted Nugent.
Uncle Ted's got some rockin jams.

You fire up cat scratch fever, Great White Buffalo and stranglehold and that's going to be a good halftime show right there.

Jesus….Ted Nugent…I was with you when you mentions groups like Journey and Eagles. Ted Nugent is a senile wack job. I guess Kid Rock isn’t so bad lol.

This year there were two shows you could watch the show at the stadium with bad Bunny or kid Rock's show.

I don't speak Spanish so I watched kid Rocks show I thought it was musically pretty decent definitely very watchable.

I would give it a seven and a half out of 10.

As for Stranglehold , I've heard him explain that "crushed your face" refers to a passionate kiss. Also, he wasn't the one singing that song.

Nugent is most definitely a weird dude, but some of his songs, including Stranglehold , are great. Would I like to see him Tarzan swinging from the rafters at the Superbowl? No.

Me and a buddy got backstage passes at a Ted Nugent concert around 1985, being a guitar player myself so I asked him what did you think of Randy Rhoads playing? He replied well he's dead isn't he. Yeah I thought what an a****** and he strutted into that room like he was God's gift

Back when I was in the Marines, I did a security detail for a few months. One of the guys I would do posts with was this cat from Motown. At least once a post I would trigger by mentioning Kid Rock and he would just off about how much everyone in Detroit hates. How he was just some spoiled rich poser

Hey guys I'm sorry I didn't do a full-blown background check or documentary on Ted Nugent like Kwyn did. Also admit that I have not analyzed his lyrics that carefully.

Was just comparing two guys from Detroit and that I liked Ted Nugent's powerful guitar tunes much better than kid Rock and would rather listen to that for a half-time show over kid Rock. And of course bad Bunny.

Definitely not saying the guy is some model human being just that he's a good guitar player with powerful guitar tunes that I like.

Do people seriously believe Ted Nugent was one of only a few musicians who had sex/relationships with young groupies? Are we going to rule out all of them as worthy of live performances?


I disagree with many of his values, beliefs, etc but one thing I respect from him is his honesty about himself. Others hid their "dirty secrets" in their dressing rooms.
