They're going to pay Pickens more than Lamb it is just a question of whether that happens this year or next year. If you don't think Dallas is going to pay him that, then you can't reasonably believe that a team is going to trade for him and give him even more lol.
His cap hit is already ~$9m more than CD.
NOT HERE, BOOK IT! I said it already, my gut says if that's his number he will be playing for another team.. I don't believe George will play on the tag, so you can keep giving your opinion,
i'm gonna stick to mine..
See that is where you're wrong, just because They lowered Lambs AAV for the first couple years
, It's very heavily back loaded, you still have to pay the piper in backend and void years.
That means you're limited to what you can do back loading new contracts, like George.. It gives you less flexibility.
So again, I'm going to repeat myself, my gut says he will not be here, if that's what he's intending to do, it doesn't matter what Lamb makes this year, lamb just got a nice big bonus check the last 2 years because they prepaid him,
It will come due just because they lowered his AAV doesn't mean anything It's still 34 when you go on full average. It Can and WILL destroy your cap for two receivers 3 years from now making that type of money.
So, you get your opinion I have mine.
Just keep the receipts, come back here when this is actually resolved, not when people are just throwing around opinions,
If this is his number, he will be playing for somebody else, and we know George and we know his agent,
I don't believe they're going to quietly play under the tag, they will hold out and then it will become a mess ,like I said ,get it over with quickly, before the draft, the decision needs to be made,
if it's a big number, he will be gone he will be traded...book it. The Cowboys are gonna benefit either way that's a lot of compensation you can get that's why he's under the tag this is for negotiating we're gonna find out his value here in the next couple of weeks We're going to see the offers everyone's going to have more information to go off of and we'll see where this goes..
