Some of our resident experts will see him in a body cast as still say Jerry should give up 3 first round picks for himNo team will after he failed his physical.

Dean and Lloyd people have had lots of questions about them from health to effort. Chenal has been a part time player. I am not even sure we wouldn’t get better play out of guys like Kendricks or Wagner. I do think we should have tried to get more at Edge and maybe a half decent corner. There were several good ones.
And if they aren't that good, how are the guys taken after and paid less than them?
Did you ever for a second think that the situation might call for more investigation into Crosby’s injury? If there was ever a way for Jerry and co to prove that this year was different, this was the perfect chance. They’ve already acquired Gary, now Crosby is back on the market, all that chatter about busting the budget, now is the time to put your money where your mouth is. And how do the cowboys respond ? “we are not expected to re-engage in trade talks for Maxx Crosby. Acquiring R. Gary and deciding that that takes you out of the running for Crosby is laughable at best.
I’m not going to close the door entirely on the Cowboys being out just yet. But if the latest reports are true, it’s just another offseason of the Cowboys not delivering.
Good point. Especially if they can't rework his deal.I would’ve liked a linebacker too, but are we really sure that any of these guys are different makers? Every one of them has significant questions
Since the trade isn’t official til tomorrow, why would we even have to be embarrassed about losing a pick? Just decline to submit the paperwork.
Yup I would be fine if we had gotten a LBI just can't believe we didn't get a single decent linebacker. We're back to having to draft for need again.
Screw Jerry and his cheap loser kid.
Exactly. Other than one starting safety, nothing was different this year.I am a bit pissed that we are spending money on scrubs that are no better than street free agents that we could have added. $11m cap numbers for Sam, Locke, and the DT. That could have gone to a better offer for one of the LBs.
So why are they saying they’re out? DerDid you ever for a second think that the situation might call for more investigation into Crosby’s injury?
Well, I do think the Gary trade was a decent add. It isn’t a free agent but it is outside help that would have earned a decent contract if he was a free agent. His numbers are better than all these edges getting 20 to 30 m a year.Exactly. Other than one starting safety, nothing was different this year.
You are going to hold onto this thought that they won’t be able to redo his deal even after they did the exact same thing with Walker and multiple other players?Good point. Especially if they can't rework his deal.
Agree. As if Gary is comparable to Maxx at all. Hell package Gary in a trade for Maxx. If they can get him for a decent package deal, u do that all day as Maxx is way better than Gary. Nothing exciting about Gary, C+ or B- player vs Maxx who is an A player, one of the best DE in the league. If there was ever a way for Jerry and co to prove that this year was different, this was the perfect chance. I will until it is done. You are going to hold onto this thought that they won’t be able to redo his deal even after they did the exact same thing with Walker and multiple other players?
I'm with you brother.I just can't believe we didn't get a single decent linebacker. We're back to having to draft for need again.

Maybe he just wasnt high on the eagles free agents because he knows more about them than we do.Parker loses huge points already. He couldn’t pull any talent from the Eagles whatsoever..
He does not appear to have any plan or maybe he’s not part of the plan but there’s nothing that says to me. Oh wow our new defensive coordinator has had a great influence on our general manager..
I mean, even a novice fan can see we are devoid / bereft of any talent at linebacker.

A very deep safety class and we signed 2 safeties in FA.I just can't believe we didn't get a single decent linebacker. We're back to having to draft for need again.

It pretty clearly meant busting the budget in terms of salary. It’s not about one or the other. I don’t think you understand what busting the budget means. It means going out of your comfort zone and overspending
Their idea of busting the budget is doing the same as usual. They clearly weren’t planning on busting the budget.Seems their idea of busting the budget is trading for an expensive DE and giving out a three-year contract to an outside FA for the first time in forever. Wheee! Let's celebrate.
