Who are the starting 4 pass rushing d linemen in the nickel? So far we have Williams and EZE. The others are more run stopping players in the base. OSA would have been the other DT but was traded. I think we need two more pass rushers to be competitive.

OSA will certainly be replaced. It's a pretty decent DT draft.

LDE - Gary
NT - Clark
3T - Quinnen
RDE - Eze/someone else

That is the easiest part of the Nickel equation - who plays behind them is the part that hasn’t been solved yet…
Not a good line to generate pressure with a 4 man rush

Yep, I'm with ya man. Edge and linebacker for me too.

Counting on Parkers coach 'em up skills on the secondary at this point.
But if there's no consistent edge pressure again this year and a black hole at LB its probably not gonna be much better than last year.

Not like league worst again but still a poor unit overall imo.

Im not with the whole scheme up pressure crowd but I mean if you disguise some blitzes an coverages shouldn’t that help?

And they may end up being BPA for us in a trade down.
I don’t think they trade down but I honestly felt when they got rid of Osa it was because of what may be there at 12 and 20. You could look up and the best player on your board is a DT and you couldn’t take one with Osa here.

It’s just my opinion, but I think it’s going to take a really special player to keep the Cowboys from trading down with one or both FRPs. We will see if I am in the ballpark or not.

Our Defense will be less predictable and QB's will have to figure out where the pressure is coming from.

If you can collapse the pocket, while forcing the QB to step up, we will have team sacks. We don't need a Super Hero.

QWilliams had 51 pressures... last season he played in this system he had 12 sack, Clark 44, Gary 7 1/2 sacks and 54 pressures!
Houstin 5.5 sacks!

One of the things I’m looking forward to. For the life of me I don’t get coaches who hate motion or don’t scheme blitzes. Just stubborn.
