Nakobe Dean Snub

It’s been discussed. A lot of his ex teammates went to the Raiders. Quay Walker was one of those teammates. Brock Bowers is already there.
I disagree. I think you have been ignoring the constant messaging that has been put out about this organization, this owner and the staff builds.

We are talking about the premier franchise in value, with the owner with the most toys, the best facilities and players are looking elsewhere for answers.

There are 31 other teams, but I would not consider this team to be the premier franchise if you are wanting to win a SuperBowl or create a name for yourself on the way to the HOF.

Dallas would be on the bottom of the list for me for those two goals.

No.

Point to the post where I said they have been.
You said the Cowboys aren't a draw to young players....about a someone that went to the freaking Raiders.
Players don't go to a team for a logo anymore. Maybe he was drawn to the city. Maybe some of his bros play for the team. Maybe he wanted to be in the same room as Brady. Who knows.
At least on paper, the Cowboys are in a better position to be competitive than the Raiders. If that's not what the player is interested in, then why would you want them?

The cowboys are not more of a draw to young players. The Cowboys haven’t been a Super Bowl competing team since Dean was born.

The raiders last SB was 2003, only a few years difference than the boys. No one looks at the Raiders and thinks SB any more than one would the current Cowboys.

Yeah. The cowboys aren’t more of a draw than the Raiders. I stand by that.

The cowboys is a place you go when you want the national spotlight on you.
If you don't want that pressure its better you go hide in Vegas or another team that every national sport media outlet isn't covering all week.

Says more about Dean than it does the Cowboys..
Dean played for Georgia and won a national championship in '22. He won a Superbowl with Philly in '24. His career says he doesn't avoid pressure. What he does avoid based on his history is playing for proverbial losers.

There is more of an upside with the Raiders.

Brian Schottenheimer isn’t the HC.

Jerry Jones isn’t the owner.

But, most importantly, the #1 overall pick that’s going to be a QB.

The Cowboys can’t compete with that.
Mark Davis isn't a good owner. And his hair is stupid

There's rumors swirling that Dean turned down an equal or slightly better deal from Jerry to go with the Raiders. Does Dean believe there's more of an upside with the Raiders than here? I know our 30 year history doesn't exactly promote confidence in our team or Jerry. Maybe we're relegated to shopping off the clearance rack....
Not rumors. He said it.

Why didn't you just use this as your original post instead of beating around the bush acting like you wanted a discussion?

He's setting up for life after football in Vegas, probably going to be a pro sports capper with possible pod cast coming soon called PCD. Pod Cast Dawgs.

From everything I read your facts are off and probably purposely misleading to make a better "anti-Cowboy story". Our offer was not better, it was "similar", meaning it was less. He signed where he got the most money.

Best thing for Dallas is he is just part of the group of guys leaving Philly or unhappy with the culture there. They are falling like a rock. Stoudland leaving after realizing where they are headed is the story. That's gonna hurt
I don't have to craft an anti-Dallas story as there are plenty of them out there.
Do yourself a favor...look up the meaning of "similar." Similar doesn't exclusively mean less. The Eagles have lost players every year..most teams do.
Stoutland's o-line play was bad last season. If the players are falling like rocks, I would think both Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson would have retired if the the culture was that bad.
They Eagles got lucky and barely won some games.

But the Raiders is where you go for a ring and a hot career.?

I mean just look at Myles Garrett. He said he’s tired of losing and wants to be traded. Browns make him highest paid and he loves it there now lol.

All you have to do is listen and read. He clearly said he chose them to play with his teammates from UGA

Sort of hard to make that point while knowing he just signed with the Raider :)

The franchises are similar.

Monarch owner that has a Nepo-baby in the wings. Well Mark doesn’t have to wait like Stephen does.

The Raiders have at least tried to get a GM involved.
