The thing people need to know is that Dee Winters is very good in coverage. He gets his hands on a lot of footballs. FWIW, PFF gave him a 91.2 coverage grade which was good enough for 2nd amongst 123 linebackers.

I misread the AI summary when I searched for him. He did have that grade but it was a limited time frame. Overall, on the season, he had a 62.0 coverage grade, ranking him 29th among 88 qualified linebackers.

That's still not bad.

Five PDs and 8 TFL last year is solid.

winters is not a bad player but my problem is the cowboys keep on trading away draft picks for one year players. you can't build your team by constantly doing that.
