2025-26 NBA Season

Wolves have no chance in hell against Spurs with their injuries. This is heading to the inevitable OKC vs SA matchup.

Can't stop the next great Spurs big man. It's destiny.

Video makes me miss Sochan. I notice he was the first to come to his defense.

lol, I did NOT see that coming as far as Minny beating Denver. Even up 3-1 but without Edwards and Danny Devito, still thought Denver would come back and win the series. Denver made a bad self-assessment…they thought they were close because they went 7 in the WCFs last year and only really added Cam, whom I didn’t see the hype. He’s pretty mid and didn’t move the needle at all. Denver’s now on the clock for wasting prime Joker years. I suspect they make some big moves in the offseason.

Equally shocked at Minny, they got rolled last year and didn’t get any better since personnel-wise yet go whip Denver in a series.
That said, I don’t think Minny will put up much of a fight to SA, Denver was a much tougher and more interesting matchup.

Kd is a baller though…I think he’s still a good player. I feel he’s being scapegoated.
I don’t think so, I think he wilts having to be the man which is why he was fine in GS. All the other teams were paying him to be the guy and leader and he just isn’t that and wilts

Yeah but in GS he was the guy he just had Steph and Klay next to him. But when they needed a big shot down the stretch that was KD most
Nights.

All
The Spurs are great, but they have a much more difficult road. Let’s see if they can beat the Nuggets first. The Nuggets have their number, and the Spurs have to beat them before they even have a shot at OKC.
Whelp .....

Spurs should definitely win. Minnesota, however, had the Spurs number during the regular season. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Minnesota win the season series 2 games to 1?

Does that mean we have the advantage over OKC?

Celtics and Nuggets were 2 of the teams everyone was crowing about ...... both first round exits ...... amazing
Agreed. Completely unexpected. It would be nice to see the Pistons lose tomorrow as well.

To me, Boston was the only team that wasn’t a fraud in the East, and the only East team that truly had a chance to win the title.

Glad that I’m not a betting man. :D

I feel different based on watching the Spurs East games. Seems like the Knicks are the only non-fraud team. Them and OKC are the only teams that have a shot at my Spurs as they drive towards a 6th trophy. Wemby is not Dak Prescott. Dude won't choke. But the team is full of dawgs. Amazing how with a completely different squad and new Head Coach, they are still standing tall with the same teamwork, defense, and non-selfish play that made them a dynasty with Duncan. Also amazing how we keep lucking into generational big men.

As good as current OKC squad may be, all you have to do is figure out where the original OKC trifecta went and there are your playoff losers. KD in Houston, Phoenix, Brooklyn... yeah, I know he won with the Warriors, but it was back when Curry, Green, Klay, etc were in their prime and he wasn't asked to lead the franchise. Some weird social media bits out of the Rockets locker room. I'm glad the Spurs did not try and push to sign him. Rockets wasted some assets. Harden on the Cavs now who are facing a 3-3 elimination game too, his stint on the Clips, 76ers, Nets, pre-KD Rockets, etc... And Westbrook with the other part of Playoff choke season with Lakers, Clips, Nuggets and more.... Not sure why teams keep bringing these three in any expecting anything different.

Pretty sure that they also played earlier in the year when Wemby and Castle were out. Wolves did have all their players though which they don't now. People who aren't watching the Spurs dont' realize how many times we lost key players to injuries in the season and still were on OKC's tail the entire season.
