Trades you would like to see happen

Turpin would get you a 6th. Mingo would get you a bag of Skittles.

Other than Brooks, not interested.

And Minlon needs to be gone. Not an NFL quarterback.
I think you are underestimating Turpin's value. He was first-team All-Pro in 2024 and second-team All-Pro last year.

Why would Cleveland have our first round pick next year?

So your plan is to double down on an offense that lead us to 7 wins last year and ride with our 60M QB sporting that 2-5 playoff record? Dak's been a path to nowhere for 10 seasons.

Myles Garret makes this defense legit and Dillion Gabriel would be a nice developmental QB. Heck we can bring in Kirk Cousins to play Dak for half the price. I;m sure he could go for 4k passing yards too with CD and Pickens.
Wake up, “Dillon Gabriel”, might as well let Milton start.

I like him, and he's useful. But no team is going to give you anything meaningful for him.

Even front line starters typically get very little in trade value.

Milton, Turpin, Schoonmaker, Carson, Sam W, Mingo (i forget he's here), Reddy, pretty much anyone that doesn't have a solid role on the team can go. If Blue doesn't step up he can go too.
Turpin doesn't belong on your list IMO. Blue should be on that list.

Turpins best years are behind him especially with Fassel gone. New ST coach isn't special. If they are just going to play things safe, fair catch with occasional 10 yard run they can make do with someone else and save the roster spot. Blue will be given a chance to step up, I doubt he does but you never know.

What minor trades would you like to see happen. Or just possible players. Yes, there will be some far fetched ideas.
And no Pickens will not be traded. And neither will Dak.
And no they will not trade for Brooks for draft capital. Unless is player(s) for player(s) type of a trade.

If Howell looks good, will they try to move Milton for a late round pick, or if a teams QB goes down.
If a few WR's step up, would they trade Turpin or even move Mingo.

I would not mind if they trade Schoonmaker, probably for a late round pick.
Same for Bell, as he is the odd man out in the Safety group. Late round draft pick
Can Hooker be a trade candidate? It does nothing to cut him though. I doubt they would. Again a player would need to step up.
How about Sam Williams, if another player steps up , and another team needs a DE.

Now none of these may happen until TC. But never to early to think about it.

Good idea. Schoonmaker is someone i could see drawing interest.

I like Hooker though to stay.

I doubt someone is interested in Williams. The guy is just another penalty to happen and seems to stupid to change that. Also he is not good. But id be happy if someone will hand us something for him.

Overall i dont think we will be able to deal players from the bottem of our roster or even backups. Our roster is just to weak.

I love starting the thread with what trades do you want to see and immediately going to, oh but don't you dare say these...
And thats why hes a natural leader here, molding and framing the flow of the site.

I send all my posts to him for screening and editing before posting them ....... He's sort of my spiritual father here.

It’d be nice to pick up some late rounders at the end of camp for guys that were going to get cut anyway, but I dunno who that could realistically be.

Only way I deal picks for players at this point is if they lose who was supposed to be a key offensive contributor before the deadline. If it’s a top defender we can just play with 10 since we have Caleb.

what was the browns record last year? myles playoff record? and what did he do in those games?

I'd like to see some of our depth in some positions be traded for depth at other positions. We really need some LB and CB depth the way they get injured around here. Maybe trade away one of our WR's (Not Pickens or Ceedee), and maybe one of our RB's.

The GM to the new franchise in Shanghai for a bucket of those fried green peas.

I hate to be a party pooper to a thread like this, but I will be. I just don't see many options down the depth chart that teams would actually give up resources for. The Cowboys aren't usually against keeping 3QBs and Milton is cheap enough for them to do so. I could see them keeping him around instead of taking a 6th round pick. Schoon I just dont see as having any value. The OL depth isnt quite as strong as it was a year ago, so I don't see a great candidate there. WR I don't see a great candidate to move other than Turpin, but his value isn't really as a WR. Sam Williams settled for a 1 year 2.5m contract so I'm skeptical teams think very highly of him around the league.

Maybe a Jaydon Blue if he is on the roster bubble? He has enough physical skill where I could see someone giving up a pick instead of hoping to gets to them on waivers. Spann Ford would probably be a player other teams would trade for if the other TEs on the roster are looking good enough where he could be expendable. A saftey could happen, but I'm skeptical. Bell is already 27 years old so the prospect tag has kinda worn off of him. Moving Hooker would give the Cowboys some salary relief so hes a player that teams may wait for them to release instead of trade for?

It might be better to look around the league at who the Cowboys could potentially acquire still. They've done a nice job of upgrading multiple positions, but I'm not sure that its a year where a ton of tears will be shed for those who didn't make the final cut.
Yeah, we have almost no tradeables.

We don’t have enough picks next year as it is and we have two new LB

Only trades u would consider would be to gain draft picks

We’re still at least a year away
Ding Ding but most importantly you don’t trade high draft capital for a middle linebacker. Miami wants at least a second for Brooks.

No.

Take any 5 players that you suggest trading away and 1 of them will likely end up being a significant contributor if you just keep him.
