I struggle coping with the annual hopium extremists here because I have reached a bottom line end result type of expectation to my fanhood.

The personnel names nowadays will all continue to blur together until that bottom line perennial post season contender type team emerges for me.
And unfortunately the disappontment is at the front of my mind and not stored in the back.

When they start to win I'll pay more attention to the names, lol.

The success (or lack thereof) all comes down the defense and Dak staying healthy. There is no question the defensive roster has undergone a major improvement. There is no question the defensive coaching staff has undergone a major improvement. The only question is, how much better will the defense be.

They might start off a little slow but as the season progresses the defense will get better. By the seasons end I won't be surprised if they at least middle of the pack. What that means for making the post season is impossible to tell right now.
