Though it's funny to see that, in all seriousness this isn't that uncommon in any business with children entering the same field as their parents. Atleast he didn't give him McClay's job and he starts more entry level. In fact as you look down the list there are a number of familiar last names with family ties to football.

Now as for young Anderson, would he have been here without the connection? Probably not, but doesn't mean he can't learn to contribute.

I’m not saying that. I’m referring to McClay only. Isn’t it a fact that it’s his job to provide info and has no decision making powers just like all heads of scouting? It’s not like Jerry is going out and doing the scouting and McClay is just going along with anything Jerry believes. And we’ve seen in the past that McClay has made his voice heard when he has a different opinion. Jerry has the final say however. Coaches on the other hand………

So I was doing my usual a few minutes ago. Going over to the team website and admiring the roster, when I decided to check out the staff to see if BT Jordan is an official staff member. (He is not or at least isn't included there)

That's when I saw this. ...(and if this place wasn't tailored toward 5 year olds there would have been several profanities just then)

Now maybe I've been out of the loop and this is news to nobody else but I was today year's old when I found out that little dweeb that's been hanging around the war room for too many years, Charlotte's son, the guy former Zone member boozeman (RIP) dubbed Spalding many years ago, is an actual official scout on the staff. College and Pro. Like he sits in on meetings and pretends he's a legitimate talent evaluator.

Why wasn't I told about this?




I guess "my mom's mom is your wife" was pretty impressive on the resume.

Did you know? I'm holding you accountable. He's being groomed for a future GM role isn't he? You can tell me.

That nepo baby will be the GM in 10 years. This franchise is doomed. The cancer runs too deep.

He grew up around it.

The Jones are good at picking OL as OL picked in the 1st round have a low bust rate. They lucked up w Parsons because it team new he was that good he wiuld have been top 5 easily.

Our last 10 drafts we have Zero players on pace for the HOF except for Parsons who will go into the HOF as a Packer, SMDH
