Attention Jerry and Stephen: THIS is what All in really means

OK, so you wouldn't want to be the Rams??? You are talking out of both sides of your mouth. You're like "No franchise should ever do this, except the Rams." So wouldn't you rather be the Rams? LOL The Cowboys were the Rams/Eagles of today in the 90s when they spent money and built their team properly. You are ok with the mediocrity of being "other franchises"? No thanks...

I’m not talking out of both sides you just aren’t getting what I’m saying. I’ll break it down…

I’ve watched football my whole life. There are certain things you have to win.

1. Build the trenches
2. Be Physical
3. Have good coaching
4. Run the football
5. Fill holes in free agency

Every single nfl champion I’ve ever seen has these 5 things.

I’ve only seen one team in my life trade all of their draft picks for 10 out of 12 years. That’s the Rams. Mind you, the Rams also have those 5 things above. So yes I understand why they are throwing away their future.

If you’re asking me would I rather be the Cowboys or Rams? I’d rather be Rams.

how many teams have never won a divisional round game like us in the last ten years?
This thread is about all in. Not many teams go all in. I don’t need to bring up Jerry’s deficiencies in every post I make.

LOL. Fair enough. We agree there. I just don't think it's good to poo poo on the Rams and Eagles type teams for doing what they've been doing and spin it like the Cowboys are doing it "right". Which Nepo-Stephen likes to tell us. It's a bunch of BS.

Even if it doesn’t quite work out for the Rams this season and they come up short, what fun it must be to be a Rams fan right now....watching them swing for the fences. They’ll no doubt be a good team regardless, so why not?

One of the leads for a vendor that works for me is a Rams fan, and he’s absolutely ecstatic about this season. That kind of optimism alone would be a welcome feeling as a Cowboys fan.

Is that what you got from me? Even though I verbatim said Cowboys don’t even have a way lol. It’s like on this site if you don’t like what another team does that means you like what Jerry does. Jerry doesn’t even have an approach.

And Eagles never even got brought up lol…their approach is complete opposite of what Rams do.

I’m more optimistic about the Cowboys than I’ve been in years. Rams should be favorites on paper. Can’t think of the last time I saw a team flat out win who were paper champions.

The Eagles and Rams are very similar in that their goal is to win Championships. Not care about being right about their draft picks or decisions they make. The "we like our guys" mentality is a death sentence. The Ealges and Rams don't subscribe to that mentality.

They have completely different approaches. Eagles ship out talent not trade all of their picks. They believe in trading for rentals for the right price. Howie is vet calculated in how he trades. Rams don’t give a damn about picks lol. All 3 SB runs by Eagles the approach is consistent.

Not 100% correct. The Eagles did throw picks at AJ Brown and won a SB with him.

I think we are talking past each other a little bit. The Eagles and Rams differ in their approach but their goal and ultimate end result is that they've won SB's recently and are generally ready to actually compete come post-season. Our team...the Cowboys? Not so much. So. Why should we buy what Stephen (Nepo #1) sells? That's our team. Why do fans fall for his schtick?

Well let me ask you do you feel trading a 1st rounder is equivalent to what Rams do? Because Cowboys do that. They’ve traded a 1st and 2nd for Quinnen. Or a 1st for Roy Williams.

Once again who is falling for Stephen’s “schtick”? You’re all over the place here lol.

You just seem to want to argue to argue even if someone you don't like tries to agree with you. You are just an angry guy. That's fine.

So... #1, Roy Williams was like 20+ years ago. Not relevant.

Quinnen was recent, sure. Good trade overall IMO because I love defense but he DOES NOT touch the football. Matt Stafford, touches the ball every play. AJ Brown was realistically a top tier receiver unlike RW in 2008. So what's your point? Are you saying the Cowboys DO trade for elite offensive talent but I am mistaken or are you generalizing?

Well for one I wasn’t aware I don’t like you. Must be another member who had a problem that I defend Dak.

Thought this was a simple sports debate and instead of name calling and resorting to insults thought it was civil. No argument just trying to understand what you’re saying.

As far as your last question goes…..does Pickens count? Or Amari Cooper?

I wasn’t making the point that they trade for offensive talent. I was pointing out the difference in what the Eagles do and what Rams do. The argument has gone off the rails to now you have to trade for offensive talent. Which the Cowboys have done and it hasn’t worked.

What is your solution??

My cousin is an annoying rams fan. It makes me sick.

KARMA says it bigtime! Laying down on that trainers table set everything in motion. Karma says that actions have consequences which influence future experiences or What goes around comes around! He brought it on himself.
OK Miss Cleo.

Agreed. It's been a looooong time since there's been legit excitement before a season.
