I know a lot of yiu dont like and didnt like the hiring, but maybe hes really cut out to be the leader to get this team to a better spot.

Still too early to tell but the coaching staff absolutely looks better overall than I can recall in a while.

I just shut up when it comes to Shotty. I certainly get the crowd that thinks he’s the same type of hire…..but I have no complaints about him. I know his dad never won the big game but his dad could coach. I’ve never heard one person say he couldn’t. I do appreciate him being human.

The jones boys dont make the calls except on the highly paid stars,(dak, cd, cp) they will want those guys starting and playing alot. This is true with any team.

But with the other guys shotty has some lee way and can play someone more or less.
It is what he did last year with blue.
Guyton may lose starting job to nate thomas, just have to wait and see.

Practices tell them a little , but I prefer to see them play in PS, and all of these guys except the top 3 will play in PS.
Shotty preaches competition, that is the reason for all the games they play around with, install a mentality of
competition.

From everything I’ve seen reported they give the coaches more say then people say. They may intervene if Pickens or Lamb isn’t getting reps but these are mostly calls from
The head coach.

I agree that Eberflus should have been fired, especially once we were out of the playoff picture, if for no other reason than to give a young coach a chance to prove himself. Of course, maybe none of the coaches we had on staff wanted to be in charge of that sinking ship. Couldn't blame them for that.

one and out ! The thing is romo was back healthy looked great,and would have been the better QB for the GB game. They could still play dak at any point.

But that was a jones boys decision too, Dak was way cheaper, younger,had a great first season, but was not ready for the playoffs, not enough experience against good teams in playoffs, (actually none).
Jones boys had announced around game ten that dak was the new starter and they wouldnt even let romo compete for his job back.
It was stupid, they had 2 good qb's, use both ! at least thru end of season, but they made so romo would only play if dak got hurt and couldnt play.
They ignored that no rookie had ever won the SB lol.

If say spann ford looks good in TC and PS games then he will get more playing time in reg season.
They just gave ferg a new contract so it would be hard to bench him.
I say just give Spann more playing time, then is he is clearly way better then maybe he takes over.

It will be real interesting if a low salary new player outperforms a high salary veteran during camp.
Is Jerry going to interfere?
You know he hates to pay big bucks to players to ride the bench.

Thats actually how it should be. The best players should be on the field period, regardless of the salary.
