I had great respect for his old man as a coach. I met him when he became coach of the Commodes (Commanders).

When I was still working in TV news, our crew went to the training facility in Northern VA for a sit-down interview.

He was easygoing, a genuine stand-up dude, with a great sense of humor.

That was a mistake by synder, and we all know him now for the worthless weasel he is lol.

Agreed and in defense of those with the same view there were a lot of more seasoned, more sought after and better (on paper) options at the time - plus the process was limited and short.


I can absolutely understand the pov of being upset about the hiring. I just hope that they continue to give him a chance as he evolves the team, and obviously hope the team has success under his leadership

I for one am totally glad they hire shot over some retread.
He was the one who found and hired CP, so if he works out good, it is because of shotty.
The only thing is, I think he is a pretty good HC, just still unsure of how good he is at OC.

I think and hope cowboys will surprise us and other teams this year.

That is silly to cement anyone in based on the previous year. Dak was shut out in 2nd half of several games last year , he has to do better.
If the defense is just middle of the pack, and if pickens plays he should lead the league in scoring per game.

Nothing shotty can do about that, the jones boys gave him the biggest contract in history of NFL ,and 2 years later it is still the biggest !!!!! No trade clause lol so they cant unload him till 28 maybe.
Fish was saying he sees an extension coming lol, so no telling how long he will be the QB here.

Dude parcells said he couldnt take another season, he was old and wore out.
Thats why he had his starting QB holding kick attempts lol. He never coached again.

td's, you have to look at the box scores for each game. I use the espn box scores.
