SF scored 19 points in the 2nd game.
And only 23 points in the 1st game.

Those 2 games are on the offense and Dak. Period. Please stop misremembering history.

I agree the San Fran game Dak and the offense let us down….but when the offense was struggling the defense had moments of making plays to change momentum and they came up short. So I’ll knock them for that but can’t put the loss on them. The defense racks up all these sacks and interceptions in the regular season and then playoffs come there’s nothing. Same as the offense. They aren’t obsolete of blame.

Quarterbacks aren't on the field at the same time, quarterbacks don't play against the same level defenses in the same game, and quarterbacks don't always benefit from the same level of coaching.

They can't sit on the fence and go, "Hmm...your parents were more fortunate than mine, and you had a better 2nd grade teacher, so therefore...I can take all the money but very little accountability." Dak is supposed to be a coach on the field...that's why he got paid...he's not paid to go deer-in-headlights and then blame the coach. Had Dak taken $40-45mm/year...we wouldn't be having this discussion. But he demanded the bar be raised and so now it is.

Guess we need to define "hardware" then? He won Rookie of the Year too. That's an individual award. So I guess that's hardware?? Definitely not "team" hardware like the Halas Trophy but you could argue he got RoY because of the team he inherited at the time.

Second of all I am a busy man because I have a business to run. Now to answer your question, every sports team has a MVP and a runner up to recognize the best player of that sport, that particular season.

They pick the MVPs by adding up their production I believe. I can't give a definitive answer on the process because im not on the committee. Maybe you should write in to the league and ask them the process instead of asking a guy who has never selected or voted on athletes for the MVP award.

Why do you keep asking? Who cares? Does it matter? Every year there are more than one deserving player in every sport and someone gets snubbed. Every blue moon you get a clear cut winner. It is very subjective as I’m sure you know.

Third, you're absolutely right, individual plays and players do matter and lead to wins. The MVP award is a great award that can be won by many people on the team. Wouldn't it be great if multiple Cowboys players played so well that they would be mentioned in the MVP race?

And I don't know why Dak would say that because there have never been a quarterback that could get a team to the playoffs and there will never be a quarterback that could get a team to the playoffs.
