Twitter: Dak Prescott owns the NFC East

My.point is that the issue with Dallas is not recent. Its a long running issue. In fact we are.bottom 3 in playoff performance over the 30 years. You choose to fixate on a specific time frame. I like to look at the bigger picture.
No one is stopping anyone from looking at the bigger picture. One question, my friend. Was the OP in this thread pointing out the bigger picture?

Or

Was it focused on a specific timeframe?

Bonus question: Was my post, which you replied, related to a specific timeframe or the bigger picture?

Again, my post did not target or disparage Dak Prescott. If anything, it was addressing an X yellow checkmark tweet's (all members should only attempt to post blue confirmed checkmark accounts in my opinion but that is solely my opinion) timeframe of Dallas using a more relevant discussion point. All teams strive for the postseason. What has Dallas (not just one individual but Dallas) done in the same timeframe stated by 'SleeperCowboys'?

I think the OP had an agenda....only looking through the peephole....
the issue is bigger than what OP was looking at.

the OP wanted clicks. he was successful. he triggered a few people.

Exactly. It's not always clear cut. There's a lot of chaos theory going around, but in my veiled reference that water STILL goes to the lowest point.

We have highlights and MVPs for a reason...which @GINeric still will not answer after multiple questions. Can't say I blame him. An individual award for a TEAM GAME? How can that be.

What question(s) did you say that i didn't answer??? You got me mixed up with the low football IQ cowards that run from questions I ask all the time that conveniently goes unanswered.

But yeah.... please ask your questions, I don't run from answering anything.

Yes and n9. He has had bad games during season too.

The packers game was a total debacle offense, defense, coaching. Every single ayer, Dak included.

There were moments in both SF games where he did play well, also not play well. The second game was offensive e and defensive debacle . Forexample Diggs dropped a sure interception in side the 5, next play SF scored and took the lead. He also missed a big tackle against their TE on a big long reception that switched the field.

My point, there were plays to be had. We needed someone to step up and nobody did.

You like to put it singularly on Dak, but I saw multiple players choke
"My point, there were plays to be had. We needed someone to step up and nobody did."

  • Which player is the undisputed "Pied Piper" and leader of the team?
  • Which player is paid the most?
  • Which player touches the ball every play and is the key decision-maker?
  • Which player does the NFL and NFL viewing public view as mostly responsible for Ws and Ls?
C'mon this is simple math. The "someone" who "needed to step up" is not the backup center!!! It's the QB. Please stop acting like you can't figure what 1+1 is...you know.

You'd probably want to avoid interfering in holding people accountable for "not answering questions", because I silenced you with just one or two simple questions using your own logic/narratives and you've avoided me like you owe me money.

Why do some of you run, duck and hide from questions thats formatted in the narratives you created? Ive never understood that.
What? When did you silence me? I'm genuinely laughing out loud. Listen lil bro, there are posters whose pen I fear...yours ain't it. Your work is available for all to see...soo...when you get knocked out figuralively live on camera...and then come talking smack...all I can do is laugh. You might want to watch footage - aka reread your posts and the replies - before you go on taking on more water.

You're gonna need a bigger boat.

Now...what's the question you I'm dodging. I'm on your *** now....GINERIC...too much gin...for a generic, milquetoast poster who doesn't know football and can't stop fence-sitting with his empty opinions. Gauntlet laid.

Yes... "Eye of the tiger" ESPECIALLY if the chips are down or things are HOT. ..I have seen 'hommes make just flat out unbelievable play for three yards. But it just made the game winable.

To deny this happens...is...well....maybe I shouldn't say it anymore.

It's called judgement and discernment. QB's get the brunt of it (sometimes deserved sometimes not) let's stop this protect Dak at all cost nonsense.

If you can't appreciate one player or one play can change a game...not even sure why you'd watch. Who doesn't love a hero?
It's a Dak-protection scheme. The premise they start off with is that it's everyone's job to support Dak...and they don't....Dak is absolved off the majority of the blame. Uhhhh....WRONG.

Oh, one more thing before I go to band practice, last season Dak, in my opinion, played one of the best ball I have ever seen him play. So, he does deserve credit for that in my eyes.

Now, if he and the rest of the offense can do that again and the defense steps it up and does their part, hell, the Cowboys could shock the World!! lol
He did improve last year for sure...but because "we had no defense"...Dak always had an out. In a weird way, less pressure for him.

Before the NBA Finals, my son who loves to overindex on "my generation" said to me, "You've never seen anything like Wemby before!!! Never!". I said, "Speak for yourself. We had never seen anything like Shaq before and then he got swept by Jordan. Sports is not just about physical ability...it's about conquering one's own mind first and then outthinking and outmaneuvering others."

Some of yall are from Texas so you know what happened in the Finals. Point is that pressure is a component of teams sports. Field a young inexperienced team and it will show itself. Field a middling, try-hard QB who never truly conquered his self-doubt no matter how many tattoos he gets and he will repeatedly choke.

I for one, hope the D is as improved as people project. Jalen Hurts is rarely the reason the Eagles lose in the postseason...even though I think he's an average passer. He responds very well to pressure. Dak doesn't. Only Dak can fix this.

He's lashing out at the facts. Good luck with that. Facts are stubborn things.

Hard to believe we’ve wasted so many playoff and SB rosters. Most QBs would be at least 100-38-1 and flip that playoff record to 5-2.
Perhaps you can name great and elite QBs in the FA era who have started for a team for 10 years but never led them to even back to back playoff wins? ‘Only’ 30+ years and ‘only’ 32 teams so it shouldn’t take you long

First of all thanks for the incredible laughs. Imagine you calling me "lil bro". Trust me, you're lil bro to me mentally, physically, financially, etc. Glad we got that out the way.....

Then you mentioned me "getting knocked out live on camera" in any kind of way..... seriously, I REALLY busted out laughing when you said that. Man the jokes you type are funnier than anything the top comedians on Netflix could ever write. I didn't even take that wrong or personal because you're harmless. You're not cut like that, but I definitely thank you for the laughs!!

Now to the questions. You made a comment about "Dak losing head to head vs Caleb Williams" as if they play against the same defenses as if that means one quarterback is better than another quarterback because their TEAM loss.

1. So according to your logic of quarterback vs quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo is 4-0 vs Aaron Rodgers "head to head".... that means Garoppolo is a better quarterback than Rodgers, correct?

2. Kaepernick is like 3-0, 4-0 vs Aaron Rodgers "head to head" so according to your self made narratives of qb vs qb head to head, Kaepernick is a better quarterback than Rodgers, right?

but who do you believe most people here, FROM WHAT YOU READ DAILY, would blame for the loss?
There were a lot of threads & countless posts about all the issues with the defense last year. Hardly any about the offense at least in the first half ish of the season. Later in the season, when the offense got stagnant and could barely score, sure there were some posts about the offense & the QB.

Seems like most folks could see all the issues not just some of them.

Only Dak can fix this.
Everyone read this post and let what he said marinate in your mind for a second.....

The Cowboys defense was ranked 32nd last season and he called that "having an out". The offense had to score damn near 35, 40 points a game, but he said "in a weird way thats less pressure for Dak".

Lets review that one more time..... a 32nd ranked defense is an excuse.

Having to score 35, 40 points per game in order to have a chance at winning a game is "less pressure" on a quarterback and the offense.....

Im not going to jump to any conclusions, but.... nevermind, maybe these comments just don't make any sense to me.

Crazy….you say I don’t answer but he asked you one and you did gymnastics lol.

Triggered...Like you.

Triggers so hard you cant just address the topic. You have to lash out at people.

When you chose a topic....its a peephole. Not meant to address every other topic.

Right...like nobody blames defense or jerry or fat Mike or clapper or romo.

What is this madness.

I will patiently try one more time. 4th time asking you bro. You run.

Why is there an mvp award (or runner up)...an individual award....for a team sport?

Crazy….you say I don’t answer but he asked you one and you did gymnastics lol.
I agree there is something crazy here. Their user name might be TMC.
First, he didn't ask me anything. I posted a direct response to a "portion" of his statements. I simply offered my memory of the events as proof that most posters seemed to see where the issues were throughout the season. Secondly, you still haven't answered "love or money".
