2025-26 NBA Season

I’m struggling to come up with a good option. Mobley from Cleveland was brought up - but the issue is it will completely take away Cleveland’s defense - which, they need with Harden and Mitchell.

I can’t see Utah moving JJJ. Kessler plus picks (though, they traded a bunch to acquire JJJ - I’m not sure what they have left), doesn’t make sense for Boston and I don’t think they’d part with Bailey. Markennan is the one who they lost have as the odd man out.

Sengun? Eh.

A big risk would be seeing if Philly wanted to move on from Embiid - but his health concerns are a huge risk. And if Philly moves Embiid, they are blowing it up and likely don’t want Brown.

This one is tough.

Yea everyone knew this before the draft.
He had to go to the right situation. A team that could afford to let him redshirt. He definitely needed to be paired with another front court player who could provide spacing. Wings/Guards who can attack and he can clean up or shoot from the perimeter to provide spacing.

He’s in the perfect situation. And with Reed, they can bring him along slowly when he is able to go.

The meniscus stuff scares me. Hopefully he recovers. But it’s a good match and a low risk gamble for SA.

We saw a flurry of trade activity starting at pick 16.

Makes me think there was another tier drop off around picks 15/16 that was kind of the breaking point in where teams were willing to trade down.

The Philon one confuses me…. But clearly the media/internet “experts” had a different view of him versus front offices. Not that front offices are infallible… but I’d love to know what they saw differently.

He is a good, quick player, but he is going to take a beating at the NBA level. He had better make the most of the early part of his career as I suspect he is going to have durability issues long term.

Yes! We got cash considerations back on the roster!

I honestly don’t care. We have 2 1st round rookies plus pick 38, and last years first rounder who spent the season injured (Noa)…, that’s a lot of youth to try and develop all at once.

But this is very much a Bulls thing to do.
