T.O. and Randy Moss have very similar career stats. Rice-Moss-Ownes are, IMO, the three best receivers in NFL history at this time.

Bob Hayes changed the game historically, but on overall talent alone T.O. was the better player.

It's not even close.

Very few were. Maybe Moss, Megatron and Rice, but those guys are all
Modern era.

With the exception of maybe a guy like Jim Brown or Deacon Jones, very few players from the 1960s would be truly elite today if they fell out of the sky.

Give them expert coaching from childhood, modern training and nutrition and professional sports factory environments, it becomes more of a debate with lots of guys including Hayes, moving up the lists.

It’s easy to see Bob Hayes being virtually unguardsble even by modern CBs.

That is if he didn’t stick with track where he absolutely would have been in the tier with Powell and Lewis and could have maybe challenged Bolt, although that might be a stretch since Bolt was one of one.

He would have been HOF no doubt without the accident
only player I ever saw that made Reggie White cry.
Rayfield never played RT I am pretty sure.
I only went with people that played the position
but I would still take a peak Erik over Rayfield
