It could be tenable if George was on the last year of his contract. However unless they are going to hold a gun to his head and make him decline his player he has one less year on his contract than Brown

I don’t get it. Brown and Tatum can compete. You just need to round out your roster with solid role players.

Unless the relationship with Brown was irreparably damaged, they would have been better off not doing anything. Unless George can return to form or is Philly suddenly sucks. But with Maxey, Edgecomb, a prime Brown, and whatever Embiid can muster….. that’s an ascending team.

The rumors about Tatum and Briwn must be true but man I think highly of Brown. I can’t believe this is all he cost and nobody but Sixers pulled the trigger.

If they made this trade with the Clippers for Kawhi, I would get it from our POV. I dont even want George playing 30 minutes anymore. The 2028 pick wont be of any real value. 2031 might but thats close to post Tatum era
