News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

As part of his arrest, was Tony Romo given a breath test or was blood drawn?

They don't say and I checked a bunch of different news broadcasts and all they say is he didn't do well with the sobriety check so they arrested him.

There are definitely a lot of other things that could impair your ability to do a sobriety test maybe he took pain medicine for his back since he was having to twist and swing the golf club.

I just don't understand what caused them to pull him over in the first place what did he do to trigger the stop it says nothing about that either

It’s almost an hour drive to the bridge, where he was pulled over.

That’s 6:18PM

He would have had to stop off somewhere and get hammered fast.

My guess: I think it’s pills.

Despite people describing him as "hammered" (makes them feel better about themselves, I guess)...in Wisconsin one can be arrested for .02...or even .00 if you "show signs".

The Wisconsin Tavern league is a powerful lobbyist group that exists to ensure you drink Wisconsibly. Which means, start them at a young age.

But fight like hell against marijuana because that’s a sin. Not an actual sin. But the “competition is a sin” type of sin.

One of my favorite stories is how a local Catholic Church used to sponsor a beer tent at the annual 4th of July shindig. We were in high school. We bought beer. The people working the beer tent knew who we were (often times parents of friends, etc). They knew our age. They knew we weren’t here with parents and drove ourselves.

The year before? A classmate of ours was killed in a drunk driving accident.

But the church needs their money, so….

I believe OWI is a lighter option instead of DUI/DWI. You could blow a zero and still be charged of "suspected".

Probably a way to give ya a warning.

Catholics like to drink About 30-40 years agio...our priest attended my brother's wedding. Proceeded to get a high ball and cigarette.

Sorry about your classmate. Most high school kids (used to) get beers somehow. Not the Catholics' fault.

True. But it doesn’t take much to be over the legal limit.

If he had some beers on the course. Then grabbed a couple drinks right after the round.

That could easily put you over the legal limit.

It happens. It doesn’t make him a bad person. Just was out golfing and had a few too many drinks. Just a poor decision he needs to learn from.
