Can Marist be a MLB and put Overshown as an OLB?

Goodness knows it's already been said that agent 0 is playing MLB for us. I'm terrified for him taking on blocks when he's better running sideline to sideline! I think we should reevaluate Marist just being an OLB. It seems like we're just trying to find a position for him. Yes he's a bit erratic at times, but he gets to the ball and he's physical.

With Zimmer Marist had promise, with FLUS he didn't. I think there's still hope for the kid. Please give your input

In the limited number of times I’ve seen Overshown blitz, he got back there quick. He’s a little light, but could be a good blitzer if he did it more often.

You still need to figure out the difference between OLB and ILB in the 3-4. The OLB are pass rushers while the ILB are off ball LBs.

I think Marist will be a better inside backer than outside. I think O is a little too light to be an OLB in this scheme. But we'll see soon enough.

Marist seems like a Will to me... to a LB-starved team running a 4-3.

That my only concern, he’s too light to be a straight olb and rushing all the time…..but when we brought him on a blitz, he was getting on the back field as fast as Parsons was cuz he explodes when he goes….that was what jumped off the screen with me a couple years ago when he was looking borderline all pro before he got hurt. From a 3-4, blitzing him sometimes in different gaps, that might work, but yeah, likely a little too light to have him be a primary rusher.
