News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

Every state is different. Even though his first offense isn't criminal, he refused testing. His license will be revoked for a year. He might even need to put that ignition thingy that you breathe in to start his car.
yeah i wasnt gonna mention that as i didnt know if that law was applied in WI. But in NY state if you dont take test you get charged plus lose license for a year.

I was in court once for a traffic ticket and there was a guy there who was being sentenced for his 14th DUI. He got it for driving a lawnmower on the side of the highway with an open container after drinking “about ten” beers.

I have a drink now and then but alcohol has to be one of the worst drugs out there.

WHo said it was alcohol?
Dunno. Just made a general comment about what alcohol (not specifically about Romo) does to a person since it was under discussion because some people think drunks (or anyone under a significant influence of alcohol) should be making reasonable decisions.

So he refused an intoxication test but then did take the field sobriety test which he failed.
we don’t know. The official police report hasn’t been posted online yet.

The arrest log only says OWI, failed field sobriety.

Not charged with open container either.

The reason some speculate that isn’t wasn’t alcohol is because of the timeline.

The golf tournament ended around 4:30PM. Then the trophy.

If he left at 5PM, he only had 15-25 minutes to drink. Stop to get gas, smash a few cans. Then drive.

The bridge he was pulled over on at 6:18PM is about an hour away.

Given his back problems, he may have taken a muscle relaxer or some sort of pain meds before the drive.

Nothing illegal, as he would have been cited for it.

According to the article, he was issued a citation for refusing to take the test. Easy enough to verify.

And with everything you've been saying he could have just as easily been pissed at his performance, started drinking at the tournament or elsewhere because he left early due to being pissed and had more than enough time to be sauced and get pulled over at 6:18pm. Or yes, used that spare 25 minutes to drink before being pulled over. I mean, take your pick.

The topic is romo being arrested for impaired driving. The arrest never mentioned alcohol. No bac. No reason at all. Judging karens tell us he was hammered. Don't fall in.

The conversation can of course expand...with some discretion for the original point of what happened to Tony.
We dont know.

Like this guy...making up ******** in his head and trying to convince you thats what happened.

This is one sad pathetic unhappy human being tearing down other people with lies to make herself feel better.

What do you mean "wut"? You making up ******** in your head is wut.
Sure I am. But is the Captain Save-A-Romo version the only acceptable speculation? There's another guy dang near saying Romo got roofied as part of some conspiracy targeting and where were you? Oh right. A Captain Save-A-Romo version, so it's allowed. Lol.

I think the story is somewhere in the middle. I am saying I don't know and neither do you.
I can handle that. How about you?

We dont even know if it's alcohol, rx, or fatigue. Why not wait to see?

I don't think you can handle that, bro. You literally just lashed out at a post speculating that was in response to someone else speculating but only chose to target the response speculation. I mean, if you were trying to appear neutral on the topic like it seems, I think the curtain blew aside revealing what was behind it. Lol.
