Why do you want the season to start yesterday? We've been averaging 104 degrees a days, I tried buying a new truck, I normally get one ever 18 months, this time I only waited 10 months. Beautiful FX4, but the new car smell is wearing out!!! I'm ready to watch practices, watch updates, talk crap with a few former players that I've gotten to know throughout the years. Some of the non Cowboys can't stand us...they were jealous of us, win or lose. Watching games 4 days a week and college games, the other 3 days! Hell yes!! Being retired is great, but some of these summer days can drag on forever. Will put off my disc surgery and two knee replacements til after the Superbowl, will need to refill my oxy prescription.
I can't wait to read what Mountaineer has to say about Dak, can't wait to read how Bob really feels about Jerry, what Rock thinks of our fans, what Mary is wearing, what Vtwins new moped looks like, who can start more threads, risen or coogs....etc!!! I'm ready, are you??

I don't. I love the offseason.
 
I enjoy the offseason, the aspect of building the best team possible even when I don't agree with what they do. And then I love watching the actual Games.

I am really ansy to see this 2026 version of our Cowboys.

It's too hot to fish, too hot for golf (thank-you Mark Chestnut), but not too cold at home. My Four Roses Single Barrel has to be over ice until cool weather.

Girlfriend? Lol....you know, I don't have an issue with the "haters" or the "Kool aid" drinkers......I evolved into a Kool aid drinker, because I like to have fun. The older I get, the more of my old friends keep dying off. Just want to enjoy life and save my angers and frustrations for important things. I've recently, adequate a point to help my daughter and former athletes, as they get older and settle their families. On Tuesday, I spoke with our Governor, one of my friends works with him, I also spoke to a State Representative, that is a personal friend and late yesterday, I got a call to set up a time to speak with one of our two senators. I got word out that veterans and their spouses had a terrible time finding doctors that take the military health insurance. Stuff like that passes me off and I can speak to people, use the elections to get things done. I can't pick up the phone and call Jerry and make a difference.....so, if I can do something, I'll try and get passed off when I run into brick walls. If I can't do anything about it, so be it.....just keep a positive outlook and try to enjoy it.
I live the passion the "haters" have, there's just a few that going overboard and don't know when to stop. That works on bothering sides. My point, if mountaineer has another account, we'd be able to tell, just by the hate and obsession he has.
Well, me and some friends will be trying to help some of our area veterans have an easier time with their health care, wish us luck. Salud!

I can give you good reasons because we want to see some real football the offseason is way too long,

However I think that last year we got robbed our offense was so good and our defense was so bad This team should have been much better than seven wins and I just want to get that bad Taste out of my mouth, Let's just reboot right now I don't see why these guys need a long training camp or a preseason games I mean college doesn't have preseason games..

I get why they need some practices and whatnot they've already been having Otas and mini camps now they're heading training camp but why can't they just do this for two weeks go right to the scrimmages get banging on each other tackle you should be able to install the offense and defense with all this time we've had already in this offseason and get some real football back.. Can you imagine if preseason game number one was actually game number one? hmmm

I mean school starts in two weeks some schools already started but officially school starts in two weeks that means summer's over ready to get back to football why do we have to wait till September?

So yeah just for the simple I just like to erase last year's bad defense and get right into it is the only reason but last reason is this long training camp and preseason games with these non contact injuries and other injuries that can happen we can end up losing a good player between now and game one so yeah let's go now let's just go ahead and get it done...
