News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

maybe a BIT MUCH?
you really cannot see why its simply WRONG?
You are comparing Tony to a murderer
do you understand that
At least he didn’t compare him to Hitler

Godwin’s Law
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving ***** or Hitler approaches one."

lol.

I still remember people saying in 2016 (paraphrasing), "Romo's gone! He'll soon be forgotten and people will stop talking about him!"

Then folks saying the same thing repeatedly since then.

It is not hindsight when I said that was an extremely unlikely prediction that will come true. It wasn't gonna happen.

It is 2026.

Thread's at 40 pages. And counting.

CowboysZone.
Perfect time for Jerry to put Romo in the ROH. Lol

I dunno man, you guys in the U.S. act far differently that we Canadians do. A cop tells you something here, you do it...rightly or wrongly, if you don't your suspicion rate jumps to 100%
Things are different here. “Suspicion rate” is the least of the concerns

Remember, buzzed enshrinement is drunk enshrinement. And Jerry Jones is the right guy to do the honors.

Waitasec. Jimmy Johnson could have convinced Jones to enshrine decades earlier. If he had only known to buy him a case of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, get his approval, and do it while Jones was plastered. Just a wasted opportunity.

The min you choose NOT to follow their instructions puts them in a defensive mode immediately and you're probably not going to like the outcome. It's just the way they trained, wired or programmed.
Hawkeye, I like and respect you as a poster and agree with you much of the time, but I’m afraid on this topic you may be a bit naive.

You have it completely backwards

The police don’t go into “defensive mode”

Quite the the opposite.

The hundreds of hours of training you mentioned focuses on “aggressive mode”.

There are actual terms for it

  • “Situational Dominance”
  • “Aggressive Policing Command Presence”
  • “Aggressive Order Maintenance”
Google any of those phrases.

Culturally, it’s know as “coercive enforcement”, which is how police rely on an implied or direct threat of physical force, jail, arrests, searches, tows, etc, to compel compliance from the public.

It’s good that you don’t know about this. It means you, your family and friends have been blessed, or maybe the subject jsut never caught your interest. It’s not pretty.

De-escalation training for the police is handled the same way as sensitivity training is handled in the corporate world. The lawyers require it, not management and it’s done to win court cases, not to healthy behavior.

No you don't seem to understand I watch the video transcripted she never told him to put the phone away she told him to exit the vehicle.

Eventually he did not put it away he put it on the back of his vehicle which was a Jeep by the way not a bronco to video the incident.

So maybe you need to get your facts straight because all the cop shows you watched in Canada have done you no good your comprehension is poor and you should apologize to Rockport and Florida cowpoke.
LOLOL, your buddy Rockport can't keep up. Once again, you failed to read my posts on here, one of which said she didn't ask him to put it away....I also remarked with a question mark if that was a Bronco, not a bronco, as your pathetic attempt at grammar suggests. Before you want to play with the big boys in here and critique grammar, perhaps another year of high school would do you well. Try to use Google, and its definition of what a run-on sentence is...Next?

Fatigue has absolutely resulted in convictions

What you don’t seem to understand is that the entire process is subjective and built to secure convictions. It’s not built to prove guilt or innocence.

Every single factor is trumped by an officers “subjective impairment opinion”

Hell, they’ve even coined a new term to use. “Analogous Substance Impairment” or “Novel Psychoactive Substance”

Both are essentially the same “we think the defendent was under the influence of a heretofore unknown and undetectable chemical”
Yep. Even at routine traffic stop violations. A long time ago, a friend of mine was found guilty by the judge in court where the cop said my friend was speeding and the only evidence the cop had was pacing my friend’s vehicle with his eyes using the white dashed lines.

by the way, the shows I watch here are actual footage of U.S. crimes...but I digress

I am not, so sit down and cool off a bit. If you do not understand the context of my comment, which was to lighten up the room, then I cannot help that, nor care to explain any further. Did you watch the new Naked Gun, and it's refernce to OJ? If so, did you laught? Sheesh...
actually I doubt you understand context at all
