This issue will never EVER end. While people scream to ban guns, it is alcohol that does so much more harm and killing of people through car accidents. We are told repeatedly, NOT TO DRINK & DRIVE but people continually ignore this and think they are above the law. So when they get pulled over, "celebrities/people of name status" try to, like the Race Card, pull out their Status Card. When it doesn't work, they get upset. Hopefully, they don't get into a car accident risking harm and property to the innocent person.
If they happen to kill someone, while drunk driving, they cry that they are so sorry then "lawyer up" to protect themselves from the law. The person they killed is dead but the drunk driver wants protection/mercy. All along, knowing they should not have been driving drunk.
Sorry, Tony you need your license revoked for years at minimum. And another example NOT to glory any person because they / all ( yes me also) fall short. Thankfully, Romo didn't hurt anyone and yes, he shall be forgiven but their needs to be consequences.

This is all the fault of the people who make billions off the alcohol industry.
They make sure it is sold every where, easy to get , heck some could be really drunk, stagger into a liquor store
and buy 3 bottles of whisky or vodka, no problem o. I doubt there are any laws regarding that situation.

If they have the $ and are legal age, sell them all they can pay for.

And lets not forget the corrupt politicians who help the liquor industry any way they can.
Anyone who serves alcohol could be made to give those people a ride home, take their keys when they come in.

They refuse to factor the case in it's entirety.

• Failed numerous sobriety tests
• Open bottle in the vehicle
• Refusal of breathalyzer

Driving isn't a right. Passing on the right unsafely is against the law. That's the reason he was pulled over. They smelled booze. He failed tests. They found an open bottle.

I would likely fail the one-leg stand as well.

Did you view the pass is there video footage of it or is it something that's just left up to the cops discretion

And you take everything they say as gospel

He passed on the right and crossed the gore. Could the officer have fabricated that entirely? Sure. But, those two actions combined will lead to a cop pulling you over a lot of the time

Remember, cops get evaluated on their “productivity”

Their tech systems track everything they do and shift to shift analysis of the degree of “proactive policing” absolutley factors into their performance evaluations.

It’s innate cops best interests to make routine stops and if someone makes it easy, by violating two traffic laws at the same time, they’re gonna stop them.
