Sure. He’s been having a great camp so far and did so against the Rams.
But it wasn't last year's Rams DL lol

Hate on bro.Sure.

It’s not a matter of cap space. They either have it or can create it. It’s a matter of wanting to use it.Didn't we just free up a nice chunk of capspace? if we aint gonna use it to get a passrusher, i wonder if we can get Decker.
oh no if im going after Decker, then Guyton is moving to RT and Steele is becoming the swing. Im also giving him 2 year deal spread out over 3 years. Decker instantly becomes the 2nd best OT we have had since Flozell. It’s not a matter of cap space. They either have it or can create it. It’s a matter of wanting to use it.
They used a first on Guyton and gave Steele a big contract. They aren’t ready to admit failure on either.
It also takes two to tango. I don’t believe Decker is in any hurry to sign, and will likely do so with a team that suffered an injury and he can likely start.
I don’t blame him. If he wants another 2-3 one year deals before quitting, sitting on someone’s bench isn’t going to help…and again, this is when Stephen is really cheap. He probably has Decker at like 3m for a year when he will probably get closer to triple that.
I’m pumped over the new faces on this team but it’s definitely tempered by the OT situation.
I don’t hate that but I don’t know if moving Guyton right now is the move, and I certainly wouldnt expect them to, especially if the reports of progress are accurate.oh no if im going after Decker, then Guyton is moving to RT and Steele is becoming the swing. Years? Based on???Shelton looks years away being ready too.
He would argue water isn't wet.Are you watching/listening to training camp
I'd say right now that Smith would have to step in if Guyton failed or went down. I'm not sure what we'd do on the right side.We heard about Steele's struggles yesterday in the joint practices, this is nothing new. He is what he is, a good run blocker that is maxed out as a poor pass protector. Doesn't mean that cannot succeed with him as a starter, Doug Free had a similar skill set. Good news is that Guyton appears to be having a strong camp, his biggest concern can he stay healthy?
Also have heard that Bass is getting a lot of snaps with the 1's at LG. This could mean that Tyler Smith might be the team's #3 Tackle if they decide to use their 5 best lineman.
Thomas reportedly has taken a step back this season and Shelton needs to get stronger. Haven't heard much about 2nd year tackle Cornellius.
Thomas seems to be following the path Asim Richards took. I thought Richards was going to battle for the starting LT spot after Tyron left, but he just fell off tremendously. We wanted a better OL coach and actually got two of them, but sometimes it's just about the talent on hand.Depth, there really isnt any at the moment. They were saying Thomas has been so bad he didnt look like an NFL player on G Bag yesterday. Shelton doesnt look ready. Watch roster cuts in a few weeks as maybe a likely add spot.
Guyton reportedly has worked on both sides in camp. Agree, if he goes down Tyler would replace himI'd say right now that Smith would have to step in if Guyton failed or went down. I'm not sure what we'd do on the right side.
Yup. Best WR tandem in the league won’t mean much if the QB can’t get the ball out. It’s not good, but it’s definitely not the worst,
Let’s hope defense can really help us out this season
It’ll be interesting
Its still early in camp. I think they are higher in Shelton right now, but personally I think Cornelius is the better prospectI agree, but not a good sign that he is listed as a 3rd stringer on the 1st depth chart.
I think Tyler Smith alot of RT. I actually think it would be his best position. He could be dominant in both phases. Wont happen thoughGuyton reportedly has worked on both sides in camp. Agree, if he goes down Tyler would replace him
I would think that would be our best option if something were to happen to Steele. Guyton is more familiar with right tackle than he is with left tackle. Some act like if you can play one, then it is easy to play the other, but it's a lot like learning to do something right-handed then suddenly switching to doing it left-handed.Guyton reportedly has worked on both sides in camp. Agree, if he goes down Tyler would replace him
This. 100%Just pick somebody up off of waivers, we fixed the defensive tackle position, which totally surprised me only been asking for it for 30 years
Instead of making a trade for the defensive line, let’s make a trade for the offensive line
The hyperbole is strong with this one.I gotta see Guyton pass blocking vs DE1 before I give him praise.
He was beyond terrible since day 1.
