Game Day Preseason Cowboys and Cardinals Thread

I watch every play of every Cowboy game. I then watch the recaps on YouTube afterward. I won't go to sleep until well after 2am tonight. I love it.

I hope we play some starters today. Especially on defense since its new. Maybe a series. I also want Steele to start cuz man he needs all the work he can get. Let him get a series or 2 today. I would tell Dak if he has to take the intentional grounding and don't try to throw and get hit. Cuz man I do not trust Steele. Dak gets one series to preserve the QB hits in preseason.

I’ve actually let Milton play the whole first half, switch it, let Howell play the second half
I would start the offensive line, but that’s it as far as starters maybe just for the first quarter
I wouldn’t play any starters on defense, not playing basic football
Not letting anybody see what we have

Yes I understand the limitations with practice time, but back when that wasn’t the case it still went down that way.

Why in the world would you not want your 2 getting some first team reps, and why does the starter need so many addition ones during the season?

I mean considering how important each game is, and then having to go into total fire drill mode if the starter is hurt. I don’t get it.
