This is the best I seen him play and I’ve seen him play often enough, to know he is playing much better. He’s a different quarterback, he’s always had the talent, the tools, maybe he just didn’t have the mentor,

He’s obviously a super talented player.

If a QB needy team wanted to do a player trade would you do it?

A Corner or Offensive Tackle on a Rookie deal or a affordable Vet who is above average?

I think I’d pass because QBs are so important but if you’re wanting to go all in then that’s really going all in.

1 more corner on defense would be huge for this team too.

Heck no, not in today's NFL, where a starter going down is almost a given. Having Milton as an issuance policy is a real plus.

Obligatory answer.. I would potentially trade ANY player.. for the right price.

That said, I don't think anyone would give enough compared to his value or potential value to the team going forward.

I dont think any team would trade much for him right now. Not sure he gets a chance to be a starter in dallas either though. I expect dak to sign another contract with dallas is hes healthy and wants to play still.

The guy is night and day from what he was last year
no arguing about that
but then he was putrid so even a big improvement does not make him starter material yet
but at least he is on the right road

I agree but the question is when is that? I don't think you can have him sit for 3 years. I mean this is all premature but if he keeps progressing yeah I don't think he or his team will do that and rightfully so. Then you have to factor in the cap hits which kind of makes it necessary to have Dak here for at least the next 2 years.

Dak will probably have an injury making him miss multiple games in the next 2 seasons.

I agree with you but if you look back to Aaron Rodgers, I believe he sat for 2-3 while Brett Farve played. Steve Young sat behind Montana for several years, I believe. It does happen to good QB's in good programs.

Good, then we'll keep him. 2026 is an even year and the previous stats show it's not a good bet to count on Dak to play all 17 games this year.

I wouldn't trade a young QB whose light has just come on (so it seems). Especially with the tools Milton has. Let him back Dak up for awhile longer. Dak is damaged goods anyway. We may find out sooner than later if he really has turned it on.

Parcells had Romo sit for 3 yrs and said he wasnt ready til then.

Absolutely not. The starter is 33 years old and has played roughly two full seasons over the last six years because of injuries. Odds are Milton will end up starting at some point this season or next when Dak inevitably goes down again.

Dak is clearly the better player but he cannot stay healthy at this point. This team needs 2 guys capable of starting.
