NFL eliminating the Pro Bowl

Agree with the decision but sad day for the league. I remember watching the Pro Bowl in the 90’s and it was can’t miss TV.

But you can still be elected so they can still get their incentives.
I read it quickly. I saw something about eight players getting the designation. There are so many cancellations due to SB teams plus injuries etc where many are in, and that won’t happen now.

I’m just talking about people who accepted those incentives. It’ll go away before long and probably isn’t really much of a big deal.

They really need to iron out a lot of things for the better of the game (and that’s Roger’s job, but he is usually wrapped up in which third world country they can play in next), but the CBA nego is usually about fighting over the money we give them.

Fans have no idea what they are voting, its a popularity contest for them. We had a certain someone on these boards claiming Kenneth Murray was having an outstanding season
They don't. But we've already got All-Pro to award the best players in the league. I think the fans should continue to have a say in Pro Bowl picks, even if they are picking based on popularity.

Hardly related, but I hate this guy…Can they please eliminate team mascots so we can take that jackleg Rowdy out to pasture?

Todays society has become so soft that. Back in the day the best wanted to show up against the best. Now they just hug and kiss wihen they meet up. Thats all sports by the way, come to think of it amazingly baseball still puts out a good all star game though, competition wise.

Have the cheerleaders play a flag, better yet, a two hand touch 7 on 7 tournament.
You're on to something now ranch I like the way you think.
And they could be coached by say Michael Irvin and Brett favre.
The game could be played at Jerry world.
